Seriously, this could easly have become my favourite brawl by far... Cards are awesome, games are long and really different from the rest of the game wich is exaclty what I want from a brawl... But everything is ruined by the balance: you get Rafaam, you'll win, you get Kel... Well, you might as well concede and not loose any time for an unwinnable game... Seriously, have somebody ever won whit Kel'Thuzad?? I tried 4 times before decide it was impossible... And the problem lies in the hero powers; a discounted random card, is almost always better than a not discounted random card... Is this so difficoult to realize this, when balancing brawls? Did they at least try it before??
Kel'Thuzad is literally unplayable. It's best to just autoconcede when you have the chance.
And yet almost all my wins have been with Kel.. You just need to know how to play him.
Yeah sure if your MMR is so low that you play against new players that dont know how to play then sure you can win with KT.
But dont fucking post here and be like "You all suck, you just need to l2p you noobs. KT is actually balanced even though everyone can clearly see its not."
Do you hear that? That was the sound of sarcasm flying over your head. If you personally find it difficult to play KT, then yes, it may be a good idea to learn how to play him. As for calling people "noobs," clearly they're not. I respect the players that don't just autoconcede as KT; I was absolutely stomped by a good one as Rafaam. What I'm saying is maybe you should chill and not take things so personally and have respect for the people you thought I was referring to as "noobs."

So the match favors Rafaam. Don't make it out like winning with KT is impossible. I've just stomped the last 5 people I played against using KT cause most people just keep quitting till they get Rafaam and then still lose. Maybe you should l2p. It's not that hard to win as KT
And yet almost all my wins have been with Kel.. You just need to know how to play him.
Exactly. I won the five out of six times I played as KT. I just find it annoying people don't give him a chance and just give up on the spot when he has the potential to be preeetty good.

Some people wouldn't know sarcasm if it gave birth to them. I don't blame them, just the way they are.
My favorite brawl...if I am playing Rafaam. I autoconcede KT games and things go by much quicker. I'd honestly prefer if every KT would just auto concede so I can get 100 gold faster.

There's 0 evidence that supports KT is in anyway stronger than Rafaam.
As Rafaam the only game I lost was the first game of brawl I played. Where I didn't remember what the HP was and the brawl in general was about. Since then I have never lost as Rafaam. Easiest way to play against KT is mulligan for the 3/5 damage board clears, and the staff cards. Making sure to either transform with the snake or save some of the card removals for thaddius or the duo. It's obvious usually when an opponent tries to make it so you try kill his feugen or stalaag for a duplicate so I just ignore them the best I am able to.
Even though KT may win some games every so often especially with a good opening or a Rafaam that struggles for cards. I have a feeling the win ratio with Rafaam is much higher even without all the insta-concedes.
i didn't have any problems with getting the pack, but nevertheless i will also rant about it:
i don't think it's good for rafaam to be the only boss, who has TONS of removals KT only has Cone of Cold! (and some secrets, but we cannot control the minon, which will get Vaporized),as if this could work against the durable minions rafaam can play
imo (and if someone disagrees i can accept it) but the previous HP, that resurrected minions was far better than this one, KT wasn't OP with his previous HP, I still won ton of games as Rafaam back then
And yet almost all my wins have been with Kel.. You just need to know how to play him.

He's just bad.
As KT you have no recovery mechanisms, almost no removal and all your cards are bad when playing from behind. If Rafaam ever takes the board from you, you've lost.
And he has a very, very good chance to manage that.
You may just miss your curve - there's a high chance that you do because your mana curve is built really bad.
You may hit your curve but hit your bad cards - there's a good chance you do as about 1/3 of your cards are just plain bad (or very, very situational).
Rafaam may have a good hand and clear your board (lots of board clears) and develop.
Win condition for Kel'Thuzad is, Rafaam getting super unlucky with his awesome deck and him getting his strongest minions like "3 mana 4-5 deal 4 damage" dude in early turns and going face before Rafaam drawing his super awesome cards. There is nothing in between, Rafaam is way too powerful. You should concede when you get Kel'Thuzad if you're not a sadist.
Worst brawl to some might not have been so bad in the end. Because of how ridiculously imbalanced it is, large number of players (including me) just frequently conceded with Kel rather than waste 30 mins.
This is it. Finally. The worst brawl hearthstone has ever seen by a country mile. Well done team 5, well done.
It's not so much that it's BAD but that it's bad in an EXTREMELY predictable and easily avoided way. This is how you know they suck as game designers, or they're just so lazy that they redefine the very concept of being lazy. The "have a free fight promoter" thing kind of hints to both, once again. What is the relevance of that? Who knows. No one ever wanted this or asked for it, but they spent time making this feature lol.
They are so ridiculously dumb and terrible I really wish they fired all of them and replaced them with literally anyone. They are the Donald Trumps of game design. Somehow their name became a really big brand, but at the core of it is juts a shallow intellect that fewer and fewer people are understanding to be secretly genius.
How are they so inept at balancing? Last time around KT was slightly (SLIGHTLY) better than Rafaam, so what do they do? Buff Rafaam slightly AND then nerf KT into the ground so he's absolute trash. Makes so much sense... How did they think that KT's new hero power would compete. It takes 1-2 games to see how weak KT is in comparison. They even took out counterspell so there's not even any thought and risk to upgrading Rafaam's hero power.
Plus playing this late into the week, 90% of games end on turn 0 with the person playing KT auto-conceding. ...lol.

Your argument is still moot.
Then you're sadly mistaken since that was never my argument. At no point did I say KT was "stronger" than Rafaam. My argument was that he wasn't as bad as a lot of people make him out to be; therefore, your "argument" is a red herring.
Is it just me or is this brawl concede until you get rafaam cause kel'thuzad sucks and rafaam's hero power is brokenly good

Definately the worst tavern brawl, KT can't win, it's ALMOST impossible!

herp
Fighting Rafaam gives me more anxiety than fighting Jade Druid *sigh*

Easy 100 gold daily with this one, suck it Blizz.

Except he is as bad as people make it out to be. Ráfaan is at least 80% favoured. Maybe even more.
I am just happy I wont have to play it again...unless they offer another free pack for doing so :)
Better to be the hammer than the anvil or the metal shaped between.
