I thoroughly enjoy playing around with alternative and experimental rules and mechanics in Hearthstone. I sometimes play more than a hundred games of these brawls in the few days they're available.
I also enjoy playing the boss battles with premade decks, often playing them a few times, and the coop ones have been fun to play with friends.
I don't play the Heroic Brawl, but I appreciate that it caters to a different demographic.
Encounter at the crossroads, however... Does anyone actually enjoy these random deck coin flip brawls? What is the point? Who is it for?

f2p? I enjoyed the last one that didn't have the party crashers, because I don't have all the cards, I got to play Ragnoras and other legendary and epic cards, there is also wild cards which I don't have any because I started playing in 2016.

I guess that makes sense, but wouldn't it still be more fun for everyone if Blizz just made a few powerful but balanced decks? Or at least made a pool of cards that the random chose from, to normalize the power level?
There is so little skill involved when all is random. This weeks brawl with the party crashers can barely even be called a "game", it's just a sequence of pointless animations where someone is announced the winner at the end.

Actually thats exactly what I keep hoping for. A brawl that lets you pick any card from standard, so basically one brawl where everyone has a full collection.
yeah, you basically win if you go second most of the time, won like 2 games like that and lost interest.
Having a random deck is one thing, it's at least playable but those party crashers....are crashing the party. I wonder if it was intentionally designed to suck the fun out of the game.

people with common sense that actually hate constructed brawls for what they actually are?, Nothing but a spam of broken tier 0 decks that can only compete against themselves. see dreadsteedbrawl and flamewaker brawlls among so many other constructed brawls no one remembers for their actual names but for the card that broke them

Such salt. Much wow.
I'm gonna ignore the insult and just tell you that disliking constructed is not the same as liking random, and that two people liking different things says nothing of their common sense.
Actually, if you employ some strategy and learn when the crashers appear, it is possible to have a positive WR. The crashers actually diminish the RNG to some extent because they have taunt. Class selection can play a big role as well.

Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
The brawl is basically if you go first with a decent hand you win. If you go first the crasher appears first and can attack first as well. It skews the game even more into the favor of whoever goes first.
I like constructed decks better. Ironically, they have better replay value in that you can play a few rounds, learn the deck, and then have some idea how to play it. It's a much different [and, to me, less interesting] game if you're guessing at what cards you and your opponent have remaining. There's also often a lack of synergy in the random decks which can make some cards very much undervalued.

This brawl was awesome, second quickest pack yet! :)
