Was taking a moment from working on my own game, when an idea hit me for a Tavern Brawl I'd be interested in playing.
Concept is that you and your opponent each build your own deck (like usual), but then cards are added to a single deck of 60 cards, shuffled, and then handed out as usual. So you could have the perfect combo - for your opponent's hero. Or perhaps that "impossible" combo that requires a card that is specific to the other hero. Not to mention the interesting strategies of what cards you might add to the deck hoping the other player gets them.
I really like the idea, but i think the decks should be combined after Mulligan to make deck building a bigger factor, but this would mostly be about your skill with a card rather then what net deck you use.

Your suggestion is neither. You'd have no idea what class/deck your opponent will be, so there's nothing to plan around.
People will just use the fastest & most brutally effective ladder decks, and hope their opponent's cards don't slow them down too much.
