RANdom enough that anything can happen. But definitely strategy involved to maximize your chances of winning (usually pushing more or fewer spells out). And usually not too drawn out like the discover Brawls tend to be.

"Strategy". lol.
Some people would consider wiping your own ass after taking a shit "strategy".
I just got done playing a game where turn 1 I summoned a Stonetusk Boar and the spell it played was Call of the Wild. So I get a free 7 face damage. My opponent coins out a 2 drop and Windfury is cast on my Misha....he then concedes (and I don't blame him).
Loved this brawl. Opponent conceded after 3 turns, not sure why, he was ahead on board but I really don't care. Free pack and I only wasted 4 minutes of my life on this terrible RNG crap :D
Have a 5/6, 4/3, 2/3 and three 1/1s in play versus empty board.
Switch to Chrome.
Come back. Opponent has a 3/2 and 3/3 -- any my board is empty.
It was just turn 6 dammit!
Concede. And that is how I will continue to play this brawl. Just browsing the forums, and letting RNG win or lose in the background -- trying to win as fast as possible to complete daily quests for the expansion.
This brawl is SO infuriating! Every opponent I am facing are making titanic misplays. Honestly the worst plays I've ever seen during my time in Hearthstone. But I just cant win. Every card I play destroys me, and they keep getting rewarded for their horrible plays. I usually enjoy RNG brawls but this one just is awful.
If the spell cast matched the cost of the minion played, there'd be a hell of a lot more strategy.
As is it's just RNG BS.
That basically already exists with the Tol Barad Brawl which is constructed not randomised but if they did that it would be too similar.
Also, it's Tavern Brawl, what does it matter if it's 'RNG BS'.
Don't like it? Don't play it.
It matters because Tavern Brawl doesn't mean stupid shit like this.
How does it not mean that? It's a different weird ruleset every week. Nowhere does it say that the rules aren't allowed to be RNG heavy. I do admit that there haven't been enough new or varied rulesets lately but that isn't the point here.
Being able to go "crazy" at something doesn't mean that everything's a good idea. This brawl sucks regardless of the crazy thing it's supposed to be.
I lost on turn three because my opponent played dust devil which got him Call of the Wild, and the minion I played killed itself with the spell. R.I.P
I really like this Brawl.

Can't wait to watch Kripp play this lol

Ibn Fahd.
Anyone had an opponent OTK themselves on T1?
It's entirely possible in this brawl :D
boredom and 40 dust
honestly this is my least favorite brawl by a wide margin. even the tutorial is more interesting
Completed 3 Class card quests thanks to this brawl, A+ Blizzard!

The RNG is just killing my spirit.
The brawl was fun, it has some very Yogg moments, that required some lawling.. Most were not in my favor..
I don't know if they are being seen for the rest of the games right now but I did get to play on one of the new boards in the brawl.
Other than that I was pretty disappointed for a pre release brawl.
Why in the seven hells not have a promotion brawl..?
Rng shitshow
No preview of new expansion
Wtf, seriously? I'm thankful my second opponent disconnected before starting to play, got my free pack and won't have to play this again.
1h 30min for 3 wins.... thanks rng
