Anyone remember the exact deck list? There were not very many cards, therefore easy to go into fatigue.
fairly certain it's two bishops, two rooms, two Knights, one queen, and 8 pawns, just like a real chess board
love this brawl. It's a real challenge, no luck involved except draws. Lots of thinking to do. Hard but rewarding. Don't just drop your hand, hold on to cards to land optimal attacks, and DO NOT WASTE YOUR QUEEN!
While I give Blizzard thumbs up for (A) giving us the chance to play this mode PVP and (B) making the first truly balanced Tavern Brawl, I have to say that I have zero interest in playing this again. I won my first game, had a bit of fun, got my pack. Thank you. Now I'll go back to playing Hearthstone.
What this Brawl does suggest is that perhaps we need to see more "Mirror Matches" - both players are given the same deck (be it a randomized deck, or a randomly selected deck from a group of constructed decks) and battle it out.
This brawl is awesome. Some people were saying Patron requires skill? Try this. Finally something where skill beats luck and no collection is required.
I'm probably going to be hated for what I will say but whatever.
This brawl, contrary to many other ones, is a skill-based one, therefore the associated pack should be automaticaly rewarded to us after one game (obviously they don't need to fieldtest it) otherwise it is unfair for people like who have limited skill because, yes, contrary to what many people here think we have the right to enjoy the game too.

The pack is not something you deserve, its a reward. You need to actually earn the reward to get it.
This Brawl has the (painful) problem of requiring only skill but having a low skill ceiling.
This results in many matches where both players know exactly what they're doing, which not only returns control of the outcome back to entirely random factors like draws and who goes first, but also frequently drags the game out for as long as possible, making any games besides the first few very boring.
My sympathy for people with the win 5 brawls quest, hopefully your opponents are clueless.

TL;DR Git gud scrub
Well that's your opinion but it's not set in stone. Blizzard could give the free pack for everyone like they did for the very first Mechazod brawl and I think that's what they should if they want their game to be accessible.
Well, I just have to try all night and wait for a guy with a bad Internet connection...
A Friendly Game of Chess
Challenge an opponent to a game of chess! Most of your pieces will automatically attack the minion (or minions) in front of them!
Ah yes, the boss was quite enjoyable so it's nice to see it as a Tavern Brawl.
please no brawl quest! please no brawl quest! please no brawl quest!

Thanks for the worst f* brawl ever. Is this a children's card game or chess for adults with an actual brain?
RNG brawls "Wahhh all RNG no skill involved."
Skill Brawl "Wahh this is boring"
Eh. It was alright when it was in the Karazhan expansion but I didn't really want to play it more than 3 times.
