Card Design ChampionFallen Hero doesn't work with Boom Bot Jr.
It is probably designed to work that way, since Boom Bot, Jr. is not direct damage like the Mage and Hunter Hero Powers.
Because the Warlock hero power does direct damage to you.
Random damage like Boom Bot Jr. is not direct damage since it can hit multiple targets.
Random nature of the hero power has nothing to do with it; Ragnaros deals 9 randomly targeted damage with a Fallen Hero on your board.
I imagine it's just an oversight on Blizzard's part; an unimplemented interaction.
