So the key to building a successful deck for this brawl is to assemble 3 cards that fulfill these 3 (4) roles: 1. Board Control 2. Card Advantage 3. Win Condition 4. Mana reduction / acceleration
we see there's still one role unfilled regardless of its success.
So putting a bunch of 2/2s on the board hasn't given you board control? Are you sure you're milling right? ;) jk but you do have 2 minions so you should have a decent board in terms of having a large amount of coldlights on the board (not that they're necessarily impressive).
I like it but it gets stale really quickly. Everyone is making Mechwarper decks, Warlock Soulfire discard decks, and mill Druid. I had some fun with Priest, running Zombie Chow, Embrace, and Circle.

Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.
1. Card draw / Card Advantage engine 2. Something to kill opposing minions with 3. Your win condition 4. Last but not least, this is optional, but gives you a huge advantage: Mana reduction or acceleration.

Only time I won when going first was against a mill druid who probably drew very badly...
I actually win a lot when going first actually vs most decks. I just run Innervate, Barnes, and Deathwing Dragon. It just takes one good Barnes and you win. It just bullies things like mill decks and even discard lock will lose if you get a good hand to crush them quickly.
If you use druid mill you are lame and unoriginal. I will sit and go surf stuff while just letting the timer run. just because it seems like the right thing to do.
It's turn 3 i drop 3 tinyfins, i hover over every one of them slowly, my opponent gulps and is on edge of his seat, whats next you ask? I call the elven archer executioner squad drop them and hover over tinyfins again i swiftly click my hero and say "your soul shall suffer" then execute every tinyfin one by one infront of my terrifed opponent. My mage opponent snaps at turn 5 drop 3 Sorcerer's Apprentice and commits sudoku in order to stop the madness.
Although I did try some other fun stuff like different variants of single target (i.e. hex) + AoE or protect the king + Yogg or Dr Boom. Also, there is something amusing about an opponent with 7 hexed minions and no way to clear them.
I had a lot of fun with this deck. You can use it with other heroes too. Just add Prince Malchezaar and 2 low value spells that deals damage.
Had some fun with Whirlwind, Explosive Ship, Prince Malchezaar. It beats two most cancerous decks -mech hunter and mill druid.
Very fun.
Heres a fun idea that will never work
Barnes+Blood of the old one+Sludge Belcher
Fun, Awesome, but zero Balance.

Had pretty good luck with Bestial Wrath, Stonetusk Boar and Timber Wolf!
I'm having fun right now playing Prince Malchezaar, Innervate and Wild Pyromancer as a Druid,

Barnes, Deathwing, Dragonlord, Power Word Shield.
Only loses to bad draw or bad play, yes it beats mill druid.
Here's a few combinations I tried.
Prince Malchezaar + Shield Block + Upgrade
Prince Malchezaar + Ancestral Knowledge + Ancestor's Call
Innervate + Barnes + Majordomo Executus
AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / Gigabyte GTX 1050-Ti / G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3600 C16 2x8GB / Crucial MX500 2TB / WD Blue 1TB (2010)
