Exactly its total trash tavern brawl, if you really enjoy getting bad cards and raging at the computer screen then this is a good brawl for you. Plus the great news it takes you forever to finish the game.
This a great Tavern Brawl. Nice balance between total random madness and tactical play. Mulligan hard for Unstable Portal and you'll be fine. I hope to see the Little Red Riding Hood party goer as an actual card one day. Why couldn't that have been in the adventure instead of the crappy 3/2 taunt for 2?
This brawl is not fun to play period, all of the rng make it highly un balanced and it's extremely easy to fall behind on board by turn 4-5 and not have any way what so ever to come back. Not getting a firelands portal is almost an auto loose also
Yay more coin flips. As the devs have learned, webspinner brawl is people's favourite thing, so FINALLY another kind of webspinner brawl to keep it spicy! Yay!
The entire point of hearthstone is to make sure everyone has a 50-50 win rate right?
Takes way to long to be enjoyable. I played two games, the first one I conceded because NOTHING WAS HAPPENING! No one could get an advantage because RNG was just giving vanilla low stat minions! Second game my opponent afk'd. I will not be playing this again.
First game, guy concedes before playing. Then a game later, guy gets highmane off portal. Now I get questing off portal, guy concedes turn 2.
And so on and so forth.
Every brawl is just whoever gets the first minion that trades for the other guys' minion without dying. That's it.
Just shit. Please for the love of god just fire this design team, they are so bad at their job. They've always been bad and they never learn or design things the way people keep harassing them to do.
edit: Seriously how long before they push hearthstone into a game where people just concede turn 2-3 every time? I bet if you look at the average concession turn time, it's been steadily going down.
Fun brawl that fittingly features the new portals introduced in karazan. So getting people familiar with how they work and their effectiveness in various situations.
I really hate this brawl. A lot. The riding hood taunt is pretty cool, but like somebody said above, it's pretty much whoever can get their minion to trade without dying that wins. There is pretty much 0 comeback mechanic, which is odd because you'd think with the nature of the portal spells it would happen all the time. It's too much RNG.

The problem is what the portals do. 2 of them require you to have a minion, and 1 of them does nothing against one big minion.
So the second that you get to keep a minion alive, then your opponent basically has 4 useless portals ( the armor, the 1 damage aoe, the heal6 and the +2/+2 ).
Meanwhile you now have 2 portals that become great.
This is all based on the early RNG of what you get off party portal or unstable portal. One game my opponent got the 2/2 off party portal, I got the 3/6. Then I got to buff mine with +2/+2 and so on and so forth. Right there, the entire game decided strictly upon ONE single coin flip. Not even multiple RNG events, just one. Almost every game is down to just one very early RNG event.
Party Portal! can summon one of the following:

Fun but sadly not very replayable. Had to swap my 60g TB quest.

I pity the people getting the win 5 brawls quest
Worst TB in the history of TBs. What a time waster. Longest drawn out games that are determined by rng.
Trying to force us to play that Wow expansion.. neva

Yeah the riding hood taunt is really cool.

Turn 2 Burly Rockjaw Trogg made this one pretty easy...
I love how everyone is hating on the RNG, it's a RNG game people, you don't like it don't go play it.
