It really is far too easy; even in the 1st game where I had no idea what I was doing, we were well on the path to victory. (had a single minion stacked with buffs for Inner Fire). Ruined only by my partner ending his turn with 7 minions on his board.
Mechazod was a far more entertaining brawl; even if both players knew what they were doing, victory wasn't assured.
So I spent 20 minutes playing this, got Nefarian down to 30, as a Priest I'm 5 turns into fatigue... and the Shaman plays Shador or Light? and draws, killing me with fatigue. Waste of a lunch break.
Other than that it's interesting, but annoying to get a win, especially since, like the reworked Mechazod, no free pack for playing. Meh.
Oh man some people are bad though, so terrible that not only do they sabotage themselves but they concede when they don't realize you're setting up a win instead of wasting all your cards.
Just so everyone knows, stoneskin gargoyle for some reason doesn't get damaged by nef's aoe. If you stack all the buffs on it it's an easy win. This might be a bug, but I don't know if they will hotfix it.
This is only true if the AoE happens at the beginning of the turn of the player who owns the gargoyle, because the gargoyle's effect triggers after the AoE damage, but before death is resolved. If the AoE triggers at the beginning of the other player's turn and deals lethal damage to the gargoyle, it dies.
BTW, gargoyle + 2x PW:S + 2x tentacles +2x divine spirit basically makes it immortal. Add Inner Fire and windfury and Nef is toast.

Old school WoW Mage motto: if you don't end the run with the most damage dealt AND the most deaths, you're not trying hard enough.
Um, I think I encountered a bug. nef at 130 hp and all of my stuff randomly died at the end of the turn. It was the turn after I put power word glory on my battle medic and attacked nefarian. All of my minions died, and I cant find a card in the log explaining what happened. None of my allys minions died

Which is why blizz probably lowered the difficulty of it. During my 1st game i had a dude that used inner fire on the explosive rune at beginning of the game.
Still it would be cool if blizz made heroic version of the bosses avaible to play, it would be a challenge atleast and fun experience with people from friend list, after all this brawl was inspired by WoW raids and there is option to play heroic version of particular raid.

I'd love to get a pack for normal and a bonus pack for heroic yay. Wait no I don't care about packs anymore I have like 5000 and don't play ranked because it's garbage. Carry on :D
Sadly "some" is an understatement... its a bit shocking.
Whenever I play brawl I have NO IDEA how it is that so many awful awful players are in this game, yet when you go to ranked or arena, they are absolutely nowhere to be found.
It's as if 99% of the players in this game were only interested in Coop brawl and adventures lol
Quoted for Truth but it was a LOT of fun. Won my first try without knowing any of the mechanics of the fight. Had no idea there were going to be TWO board clears (one does 30 damage to everything and heals boss for 30). I think I got rather lucky with my random partner- s/he was pretty smart with card choices and order.
Exactly this for me as well, first try and opponent playing Priest was very good. Our MVP was the thing that gets a buff when ANY player plays a card. We buffed that thing so much (lost our first one after the 30 damage AoE when he hit 160 life, surprise!), but we built up another one like crazy and eventually got us the win. Priest ended up with 2 cards left, I had like 9. Sideshow was really good even without Justicar (we never saw Justicar or Lightbane). All in all was a very fun Brawl, much more fun than Mechazod. Probably not one I'm going to play again due to the long ass games which imo is the only downside, but definitely a very fun one. Who knows, I might play again if I get a Shaman or Priest quest. All in all a good Brawl.

PSA: Save your buffs for the Stoneskin Gargoyle. Don't get Nefarian below 160 HP and 80 HP before you are ready (4-6 DMG and 30 DMG AOE respectively). Combine draw power with Shadowfiend.
Fun Brawl, even though it has a few bugs here and there. So far I noticed that Nefarian randomly concedes sometimes and that the Gargoyle can heal itself even after dying (it survived his first 4 dmg AoE while at 4 HP).
This seems like a both easy and fun brawl. I agree that it takes some of the other person catching your drift, but it works even when they don't. I was playing with this one guy who had Sideshow Spelleater in his hand the whole game and wouldn't play it while I had my upgraded priest hero power and didn't know his Fjola Lightbane gained divine shield when he played a spell on her, but we still ended up winning pretty well.

I really dislike cooperative modes because I'm at the mercy of someone else's shitty wireless connection.

This is much easier than the past coop brawls

Did you have 7 minions on the board? It's a Boss mechanic. If you have a full board by the end of your turn, all your minions are forfeit.
Really fun. Got it first try. Luckily, I was randomly partnered with someone who wasn't an idiot.
That was fun!
