Damn this brawl is fun, I'm gonna be playing all week. I love the RNG stuff with all the legendaries and I think Blizzard really hit something interesting with this brawl. I can see why some people don't like it, but the people that don't like it seem to be the people who don't like the tavern brawl in general, to which I say; "Go back to competitive once you rope your free pack and leave the brawl for the new players, inexperienced players, children and free-to-play players", because I can honestly say that this brawl is fun and interesting. Brawls are not supposed to be balanced, you aren't supposed to have crazy win rates, they aren't a substitute to constructed if you are competitive, so stop whinging about something that you don't even like.
and i say to people like you who can only have fun with nothing but RNG, "go back to flipping quarters or rolling dice". There is litereally no skill to this brawl and what is the point of playing a game where anyone can win just because i said so.
It may be garbage but I just had the CRAZIEST game in my HS career. Opponent opened with 2 Lorewalker Chos. Then we kept exchanging the 0 mana spell and coins and getting down a bunch of 9 mana guys, including Nozdormu and Mekgineer Thermaplugg
I ended up becoming Ragnaros through Executus, getting immune through Malganis and finishing him with dying leper gnomes!!
People really will defend even the most abject garbage. "It's not supposed to be deep strategy, guys! You're missing the point. Brawls are supposed to be dumb, lol!" We get it and you're wrong. People are saying that this brawl is bad and boring because it's literally just a coin flip. It doesn't matter if you win the coin flip 50% of the time when there's no meaningful input by the player. I'm not big on memes but "fun and interactive" sums up why this Brawl is terrible.
Nope, nobody said brawls are supposed to be dumb. People are saying this brawl is supposed to be dumb. Hearthstone's rules are broad enough to provide a variety of experiences, and this one is about discounted monsters crashing into each other. Everybody rags on the random chaos crossroads brawl too, but it's one of the most popular ones, so it's gonna be back. There's an audience for the most random of random Hearthstone games, and there's nothing wrong with those people. They like watching silly, dramatic things happen, while winning is less of a priority. Most of the people who post here value winning, and proving they are smart by winning; and while there's nothing wrong with that either, they can't expect the brawl to cater to them every week.
Terrible brawl, but it worked well for the "Win 5 Brawls" quest I got today, since virtually every game was a two-minute concede by either me or my opponent. Didn't take even close to all of my lunch break to get the 5 wins.
And yet again a brawl where you have absolutely zero influence on the result.
Blizzard switches between brawls with premade decks and build-your-own-deck. I'd rather see them switch between brawls with 100% luck and brawls where it matters what you do.
Basically, whoever gets a 2-3-4-5 cost legendary in his hand first wins. One game on turn 8 I had nothing to play because my hand consisted of like nine 9 cost dragons of all kinds...This brawl needs more mana reduction cards or some sort of ramp, so both players could get more stuff on the board at the beginning of the match and actually fight for the board.
On the side note, 4 mana Rend Blackhand was pretty fun to play. There are a lot of legendary dragons.
AWESOME BULLSHIT brawl this time. 92% luck, 8% skill at most. You get 6-mana drops, you win, more so if you have the coin. Rogue can only hope for quick VanCleefs, everything else gets screwed. I managed to pull two Lorewalker Chos and made opponent play one Offensive Play so I got four (one played, two from Chos, two more drawn - so there are at least 6 of them in your deck), into t9 Baron Geddon (to wipe enemy's 7/1) into thee offensives into double Malygos into another offensive into Edwin VanCleef - only to face Al'Akir the Windlord into Cold Blood (he had Nefarian), of course he went face and won. I'll still play more, I want me 5 brawls, and once I have managed to pull Rend Blackhand with Deathwing, Dragonlord killing enemy Yogg-Saron, Hope's Ends one by one. XD
I've found the trick to "rapidly" win any bullshit brawl like this:
Rope your opponent and wait for them to concede.
Most people play the brawl only to get their free pack so they're very impatient and will concede easily. Of course if you only play against determined opponent you will lose your and his time instead, but I personnaly was lucky to play against someone impatient enough for this strategy to be viable.
You can also rob little kids in the park for money. Gl with your life.
Hahaha, please explain to me how that relates to roping.
Just had hilarious game i had 3 cho's on turn 1, my opponent dropped 2 pagles then another one at some point and were keeping his offensive play in hand however at turn 5 he made another mistake, he gave me the coin... needless to say it didn't end well for him ;)
This brawl is only luck and no skill. Bring back the ol' classic brawls that didn't have any RNG like the Webspinner one or the unstable portal one. I also liked the one where your deck is fully random, that one sure reqiured skill. The brawl where we picked 2 cards and had 15 duplicates of each was also so very skillful, remember mechwarper into metaltooth leaper? That play was very skillful indeed. Bottom line I'm so glad Tavern Brawls are meant for competitive play but this current brawl was just RNG and no skill like the brawls I mentioned.

Turn 3: coin > 2x OP > 2x Kel Thuzzad GG

"4 copy o each legendary" well played blizzard
pretty crazy brawl in general

"Live Free or Die Hard"
why not just have a deck full of legends ones but all differen.t be way more fun instead of stupid 4 copies of each

Terrible Brawl. I got my pack and left ASAP.

I def just had 5 Deathwing Dragonlords, I thought there were only 4 copies of each.
Is it possible that 2 of my 7 legendaries were the same minion?

There is a lot of steak here...
Not fun at all
I'm agree with everybody, who is not satisfied with this brawl. To have 7-9 mana legendaries against T3 Emperor Tharussian is instant defeat.
And it's not my merit, to have Hemet Nesingvary and Gazlowe against early King Mukla.
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
