I honestly cant understand the luck of some people. I can go through 4 idols looking for a single spell to do more than 5 damage or clear a minion and the opponent can have a perfect legendary minion curve and any healing/clear/secret he needs for each turn. I swear this game is rigged but how?
Omg Lock and Load Hunter is too much fun. just try do L&L and 3 idols turn 5 and aim for hunters marks and other board clear and look for your next L&L so you can play a long but very controlled game. I usually only one Tavern Brawl and bail but I can't stop playing lol
Lazy. I might be salty because I had some incredible bad luck the first like 10 games, but I like when they take the time to come up with interesting synergies or team battles. These spider/portal/raven brawls are just lazy. We should have a pirate brawl.
What's the strategy here? Obviously....rng....but I'm losing almost all of my games. Clearly I'm doing something wrong.
Well, not sure what anyone else's strategy is, but I'm winning far more than I'm losing so I'll offer mine. Turns 1-3, you need to try and get some low cost minions, they don't have to be great, but you need to get some board presence. If you have the coin, do not spend it, use it to try and get a minion on the board first. So if you have coin, Turn 1 you want to try and get a 2 or 3 drop minion; Turn 2 if you have a 2 drop, play it - if you have coin an 3 drop, play that - either way, try and get early board presence.
When you have 2 or more minions or board control for Turns 4 and after, then, just phish for spells to answer threats that your opponent drops. So, Turn 4 you have 2 minions and they finally laid down a minion, do 1 raven idol for a spell to try and find an answer or something to help your minion survive a trade. just keep up this pattern to keep board control, and phish for answers as they are needed. If you lose a minion, try and repopulate the board as you go along without yielding board control.
Anyways, I hope that helps.

well, basically im losing because i develop minions on turns 2 thru 5, and literally every single one is met with spell removal. in the late game, i then get absolutely crushed, where I am the one fishing for spells, except there are very few if any spells that remove big minions.
It was a cool brawl day 1 when bad people were trying to get their pack, but as usual it quickly devolved into a coin flip match.
Co-op brawl was the only brawl where skill mattered, sadly. Oh well this one is a cool idea, when you play against total idiots it does let you leverage decisions into better chances of winning.
It's very consistent, very powerful & most importantly it rolls over Mage almost every time.
You were right, it's great fun however im not playing 100% spell like, with 1st idol i try to get 1 or 2 drop somtimes i take really good stated 3 drop if i have coin then i roll with the spells.

Saw the word "idol" in the title and totally thought it would be WOG related. Laaaame.
Something witty.

Hunter can be pretty fun with lock and load. Not particularly good, but really fun.

0-8 worst brawl ever

I've won five matches in a row as Rogue. Tons of burst damage and removal, and an early Cutpurse might as well be game.
How to get your free pack this week:
Custom cards :
CLASSES : Alchemist (CCC#5 | Phase V) | Chef (CCC#4)
EXPANSIONS : Year of the Scorpion (Year Comp)
I've fallen in love with 100% spell hunter.

This Tavern Brawl is mostly tedious, but I did enjoy casting Sabotage to destroy Ashbringer and Deathwing at the same time.
Naturally, my opponent immediately conceded.

This is really the very best brawl ever I think. I don't want to let it got :(
I played as a priest, became Ragnaros and started discovering Druid cards. Is this intended or a bug?
