Holy idol, how I hate this Brawl! Games take aaaaaages, and I'm at 0-3 after 40 minutes.... vs Flamewaker, vs. 12/12 Summoning Stone (Priest Inner Fire Divine Spirit)Neverlucky. I just want that damn pack!
I hate how slow this is and this comes from someone that plays almost only CW and has 5000+ CW games. This is effected hugely by the fact that people are really really really slow to chose the cards. It should take max 3-5 seconds to judge which ones is the best in any situation, people take almost full turns every time.
Played as warlock, faced 3 mages and 1 warlock. Lost to the first mage, beat the rest. I got lucky that none of my opponents had any spell-synergy minions (except for a turn-5 Violet Teacher that died after making one 1/1).
Second mage thought she was a freeze mage, casting 3 Frost Novas, 2 Blizzards, a Cone of Cold, Frostbolt, and Ice Lance. Annoying, but I just kept tapping and discovering minions and eventually she ran out of freezes.
Oddly, I keep seeing the second player do turn 1 Raven Idol->The Coin->Raven Idol, which I think is a mistake...you don't lose any mana by going Coin->Idol on a later turn as opposed to turn 1. Keeping the Coin and an Idol lets you get a discover later, when you have more information about the game state, or use the Coin to accelerate out a big minion you've discovered, depending on the situation. Not to mention it's all the better to still have them in hand if you discover a spell-synergy minion.
Overall, I think the brawl is fun, but I do realize the games go on a while, since spells = removal most of the time.
Great brawl blizzard! Somehow all my opponents get 3-4 legendaries before turn 8 while I get War Golems up the wazoo. 0-7 so far, please just give me that pack already!
I honestly got the holy grail, played warrior. Had Upgrade in my hand, went for a minion and got Blingtron. I got Gorehowl and he got cursed blade. 16 straight to the dome.
It's fun, but be sure you are not on a 10 minute break or something at work. Each round takes a really, really long time. A lot of turns go into the rope from both sides.
Personal note for this: Best free pack ever for me from a Brawl. 2 golden rares and a Deathwing!
Fun brawl, requires strategy with them discovers, what first, minion or spell, what next, minion or spell? Also it's a good thing you don't see what do they discover. First time played Flamewaker, enemy managed to discover Blessing of Might to trade it off, I rocked with several Ethereal Conjurers into an eventual Pyroblast. Next time it was King Mukla into a ton of removal, so they got monkeyed down. Next time Piloted Sky Golem into Duplicate - oh my goodness. Next time Gadgetzan Auctioneer into an eventual Archmage Antonidas. Next time caught my opponent with a timed Flamestrike. Next time they caught me with Unstable Portal into Dr. Boom t4 - LOL, concede. Looks like this brawl is even better than portals!

I like this brawl, but I really hate how some cards are biased toward it, like Mage getting an Antonidas and having easy fireballs with the idols.
What the heck, why can't we do deck builder for this one? Oh well, here is my take, happy hunting:
Free to try and find a game, dealing cards for sorrow, cards for pain.
Hunter is the hero to be; just pick things that go for the face and if you have nothing, your hero power is mighty fine.
Trying to win a match by discovering only spells is lots of fun. Good brawl, I like it.
Mage seems strong. I've gone 8-2. Shenanigans with Flamewaker, Sorcerer's Apprentice, and Mana Wyrm are pretty hilarious with all the 1 cost spells.

Boomkin died got 2x got unstable portal got Rhonin
Played Rhonin he died. next turn
2x Jungle Moonkin into 2x Arcane Missiles and a dead warlock.
Edited to clean up.
Priest: Pick board clears and SW:D/P/Ent. Pick every Mind Blast offered. Win.

Was a decent brawl, just very slow but I guess it was the same with the treasure brawl.
So I played as a rogue due to combo, worked out fine. Won with 1 hp vs druid.
