And how does this help new players? Would it kill Blizz to make every card available for all players just for the brawl? New players wouldn't be behind, could take cards out for a "test-drive", and might like them enough to acquire them.
Fantastic idea to make all cards accessible to build-a-deck type brawls.
But Blizzard would be too scared that a few players would just run brawls for 5 days a week for maximum fun and never buy cards.
I don't like this brawl. I don't like any brawl where you have to build your own deck, limits new players from playing it properly. And this one is very slow. Often nothing is played until turns 4-6. I like control games but this one is to much residentSleeper for me
For me on the other hand, I like this brawl. I like any brawl where you have to build your own deck. It rewards players who know how to build decks from scratch based on the custom rules and who've spent the time and effort to build up their collection. This one doesn't need to be very slow if you know what spells below 7 mana are playable. You can punish players who do nothing but hero power from turns 1-6. I like control games and this brawl was designed so you can actually play with all your finishers.
Face hunter with 0 minions is very strong, and pretty consistent.
Only lost twice; once to face mage, and once to another face hunter. (2hp between us)
Still a terrible brawl though; removing low cost minions completely destroys board interaction, and favoring high cost cards punishes those who lack them.
and the combo as always can deal 14 damage and stuff, also ramp you know.. innervate, wild growth.. good stuff.
I don't know how a new player can beat this brawl though.. maybe attempt like 10 times with some sort of buff paladin, I hope blizzard matches people with similar collections on this one..
This brawl sucks for people who don't have cards past 7 mana. I've noticed that every brawl this year has a high ratio of mages, and I just can't have fun against the cards they have.
And so on the topic of this brawl... I think it's unfair that Priest, and Mage can take cards from other people's decks. Like Mirror Identity isn't fair if your a druid with only 7 mana or higher minions.... and no bgh in this brawl. If this brawl allowed you to use low mana cards Mage would then use flamewaker to wreck tons, like they do in any other brawl. And Priest (for once) has a brawl that is good for them, but it's not particular fair to have your best card stolen from you through Mindgames either.
I only played a couple games, and I already don't like the brawl, but maybe I'll give it another shot.
It is the deck that says "If I can't play small minions, I won't play any minions at all!"
Why play this deck? Because when the priest plays Mindgames you can go: "I'm sorry!" muahaha!! (It also has a decent win rate and is quick, so good for farming, I guess)
Cleave is because I encountered mirror image several times, (almost) ruining my day.

Thank god for Mind Vision and Thoughtsteal to even the odds. ^_^

Thanks Blizzard for yet another brawl where Mage is stupidly overpowered
Its fangs are in your flesh before its hiss leaves your ears.
Golden Heroes: Druid -> Rogue -> Shaman -> Hunter -> Warlock
@mysticsnake play this deck and you'll beat them pretty easily if you find a flare. I went 5-0 fairly quickly with this deck.

I think this brawl would have been a lot better with limited spells... that or just remove spells from it.
Bad players whine.
Good players adapt.
This is the game the nerfcriers want.
I LOVE it! We need every opportunity we can get to play those big minions that are usually too slow and see little play. I'll play this brawl a lot.
I tryed rogue, turns out its pretty good, got my 5 wins quite fast.
I had a funny game in this Brawl:
I managed to cast a 1st turn Astral Communion!
But then I drew 5 spells in a row :(
So much fun to counter mirror entity in this mode.

well ramp druid (with combo of course 3-0 so far.. tried a control paladin of sorts 0-2 though
Druid got 3 spells which give you/summon stuff (Raven Idol,Power of the Wild, and Living Roots)
poison seeds seems pretty good . in my first game I gone Poison Seeds into Volcanic Lumberer.

I just build a top-heavy Astral Communion deck. Got my pack and bounced.
I went 5-0 with a weapon heavy War deck, going face all day. (Had the 5 win War quest).
Without taunt minions its pretty hard to stop. No Acid or Harrison to worry about either.
Interesting brawl; i decided to go with rogue. Here is my final deck list for rogue in this brawl, worked well vs hunter
Did my dailes with holy wrath giants buffadin + mage ones with echo mage that suits this brawl, pretty easy.
Here's the pala deck if someone is interested
Good old priest deck ftw. Now the hunted becomes the hunter for once. Get to turn all the OP classes deck strategy against them.
