It's literally whoever can get the biggest discount has a 99% chance to win. Getting my free pack has taken me 10 tries and it still hasnt worked. Fuck this RNG
I can understand people not liking this brawl even though I don't share that opinion, but how could you vote for anything less than 5 on balance? It's 100% random so everyone has the exact same chances of winning. It's the definition of balanced. Sure you may get shit luck some matches but you'll get good luck in the next or the one after. Occasionally you even get the same level of luck as your opponent and actually get an absolutely insane 10+ turn game. Of course, for that to happen you can't concede at the first unfavorable play which seems to be a little beyond most people.
I gave it a 1. I interpret it much differently. Otherwise every pre-constructed brawl gets a 5 and what's the point of asking? I gave it a 1 because once the game starts and opening hands are dealt and costs randomized, it's the most ridiculously unbalanced experience I've ever had in this game.
Well certain pre-constructed brawls like the Medivh vs Alleria and Rag vs Nef are obviously unbalanced and skewed in favor of one of the two decks. There's also the ones like Webspinner which is better for Hunter and portals being better for Mage. Basically, all pre-constructed brawls are not created equal. Like I said, you may get bad draws or shitty cost reductions, but you have an equal chance of getting amazing cards that you can play for next to nothing. So it is inherently balanced. You have the same odds of winning and losing at the outset of every game.
Best brawl ever, could this be a permanent thing please? Awesome way to grind dailies. Perhaps the regular random crossroads brawl is more suited for a more permanent fixture.

I think you're arguing my point. At the moment you click "Brawl" it's always balanced. What happens when the game starts is a much different story, and Rag vs. Nef is a perfect example. A roll of the dice can put you at a terrible disadvantage. To me that's imbalance.
I love this Brawl. Yes, there's times when your opponent gets all his good drops out early, but those are usually short games so it doesn't matter that much.
It's just so completely hilarious at times though due to the random combination of cards you get in your deck though, and the random cards you have to play against.
I had a game earlier where my opponent played a Fel Reaver, and my cards for next turn all turned out with low values. I was able to play 4 cards + coin, making him discard 15 cards in 1 go, and I took out his Fel Reaver as well. What are the chances of that in a normal game on turn 4?
Another game I managed to buff and keep alive a Micro Machine till it reached 15 attack just by healing it when it had to take out taunts and other minions to maintain board control. By the time it reached 6 attack I started rooting for it and I really grew attached to this little machine that could and kept buffing it when it was actually dangerous to do so against a Druid just 1 Keeper of the Grove away from ruining it. But he managed it, and got the finishing blow and it was immensly satisfying.
Stories like this are why I love this brawl. Being able to do dailies in a less painful way is just a nice extra.

I love the random crap that can happen. It's a fun change of pace. My opponent set up a huge board in one turn and was sitting at 30 life. I drew up a savage roar and had the turn 6 combo of Force of Nature + Force of Nature + Cenarius buff + Savage Roar. Cheap win? Hell yeah, but it was hilarious. It's fun to stop tinkering with decks for a day and just enjoy some batshit crazy stuff happening.

Except that in Rag vs Nef it is more or less decided once the game assigns your hero with only extreme luck or extreme difference in skill levels being able to change that decision. Whereas in Randomonium every turn can bring a giant swing, and the game can go in literally any direction. Since neither player knows what's in either deck or which cost reductions will come you really can't say it's over until it actually is. Sure that T1 Kel'Thuzad may be scary, but look you drew a Shadow Word: Death and can get rid of KT right away.
For instance, last time Randomonium rolled around I was trying to clear a Warrior quest. My opponent had a full board of heavy hitters and I had some dinky 2-drop and like 15 health. From my experience with this Brawl if the roles had been reversed I can almost guarantee that my opponent would have conceded but I decided to wait until my turn came and see what happened. Sure enough I drew a Brawl, my 2-drop survived, and I went on to win the game.
Not every scenario is going to be winnable, but chances are that if you hold out until lethal is staring you in the face you might just draw what you need to turn the tables. Or you might not. It is random after all. You see that randomness as imbalance, but that imbalance effects each player equally. Which makes it balance as far as I'm concerned.
If you love this brawl you probably love slot machines as well.
Playing Aviana, Kel'Thuzad, Mech-Bear-Cat and Malorne all on turn 4 was reasonably satisfying for a moment, I guess, but I didn't get the satisfaction of knowing I played a good game. And I actualy felt really bad for my opponent.
This is a play until you win brawl for me. (got milhouse in my pack, that was kind of cool)
Finally!! a Brawl where people won't focus on just spamming the Op deck of turn!!
Really last week's brawl was the worst with all those banana mage decks
I hate this brawl so fucking much. It's literally 100% luck and nothing else. At least some other brawls have had some skill needed.
It's literally whoever can get the biggest discount has a 99% chance to win. Getting my free pack has taken me 10 tries and it still hasnt worked. Fuck this RNG
worst brawl ever, should never happen again, it goes to show that blizz only cares for kids playing their games
there are is no innocence only degrees of guilt

Turn 1 alex into turn 2 windspeaker. gg :(
80% win rate with this brawl :) Just mulligan everything not 5 drop or higher.
This brawl is funnier than the rest of the game, should be permanent.
I don't love the fact that it's often a coin toss, but it's an ok brawl, especially to complete quests.

Only thing faker than this week's "user review" stats, is RNG for F2P/low-budget players.
Excellent brawl, lots of gold!
I honestly don't understand why people like this brawl.
You have zero influence on the result of the game. And 90% of the games don't even reach turn 4.
It's a great Tavern Brawl. I love the randomness. Good way to grind dailies with.
Worst brawl ever. 5 loses in row because of stupid unfun rng. Just give me the damn pack already. Waste of time!!!!
