Got pretty lucky on this, enemy quit on like turn 3 lol. Used Paladin, drew a leaper gnome and started 2nd, turn 1 drew competitive spirit so I had 3 chickens and a leaper gnome that got boosted 1/1 and that's that.
Just had a match go to turn 2t, me (warrior) vs rogue. Pretty intense control battle Goin on. I eventually won from 2 hobgoblins, protector of Argus, and ooze, plus cairns and grommash

Priest. Where all of your games are mirror matches!
i tried the warlock discard strategy and it worked well. i was lucky to discover Soulfireand Succubus. by the end of the match i was at like 14 cards exluding the ones in my hand and my opponent had about 30. it helped that my enemy played a Mech-Bear-Cat, i figured that i was suppose to make it proc as much as possible coz it messes his "draws" while i refine mine with discards.
Tracking: pick something good and leave the chickens behind
Deathwing good to use as you will thin you deck fast and only have him
Fel Reaver: good because removal and taunts are rare but can make you lose your entire deck.
Astral Communion : use once and use again if you dont like what remains in your hand, comes with an added bonus of drawing 1 card that you can play for sure.
Beneath the Grounds: havent tested but should mess with your opponent's hand, it wont make nerubians for you unless drawn by an effect like warlock hero power.
Mech-Bear-Cat if your opponent puts this down, abuse it by generating as much spare parts as possible for him.
King Mukla: could be dangerous but should give some advantage late game when his deck has more bananas than a banana plantation
As in any other game, the worse your fundamentals, the more RNG runs things (because you're simply not doing anything right). If this one is completely RNG based, then Arena is just a very complicated d12.
Arena can't ever be a d12, because you can end up with 0-3 :D It's more like a set of 14 loaded d2s thrown one by one, and when you get three 1s, this stops. "Loaded" because your deck is mostly RNG-based anyway. I'm yet to see a single Big Game Hunter in my arena picks, while I meet them every other run, sometimes even in each battle, should I play a 7/x or Blessing of Kings.
About this brawl, it's MOSTLY RNG-based, if you're not given a decent early drop or a removal, you're screwed. Best play t1 Hobgoblin, and you're stuck with 4 chickens and a coin in starting hand, with a bunch of 6-drops on discovery. What can you do? Wait? No, I'd better concede and try again. This brawl is best played fast.
I would just like to point out that the description of this brawl on the front page is wrong. It says that at the end of your turn your hand is destroyed. That's not true and I think a bunch of players think it is, making them play wrong. At the end of your turn what remains in your hand is shuffled back into your deck and then a new hand is drawn back from the deck. A huge difference as you don't have to play a certain card in order to "save" it for future turns. Also some people don't play their chickens because they think playing something will multiply it in their deck. That is also wrong and they lose because of it.
Dragon consort's alright in this. Even if you don't get a dragon it's a 3 mana 5/5 for the rest of the game. And nozdormu's fun too. My opponent just conceded soon after me playing it.

Oh God Not this nightmare again.
Does anyone know if winning against a friend counts as a victory to get the pack???
"この 先は 暗い 夜道 だけが も 知らない それでも信じて 進むんだ 星が その道 を 少し でも 照らしてくをるのを"
Not bad
Got offered a Knife Juggler on my first pick, so...that didn't last long.
Rogue was an easy win. 0 and 1 mana combo cards for days.
Not my favourite brawl but I managed to pull off Elise

It's just so obscenely long. Not fun to play a 40 minute match and lose to RNG BS.

Well, I guess I kinda broke it.
They played their animations all the time someone flipped the coin. He conceded.
I also have a problem with brawls that favor certain classes so heavily. This brawl is easy if you pick mage. Nearly impossible if you pick warrior.

Played 6 games won 1. TERRIBLE card options. On turn two, cards choices are stuff like Foe Reaper and Illidan. At least I got the pack out of the way.
You do not truly know someone, until you fight them.....

cards of interest for this strategy:
succubus
Dark Bargain
Soulfire
Doomguard
simple enough, discard the chickens with these cards
Tracking: pick something good and leave the chickens behind
Deathwing good to use as you will thin you deck fast and only have him
Fel Reaver: good because removal and taunts are rare but can make you lose your entire deck.

these cards are for messing your opponent's hand:
Curse of Rafaam: havent tested this yet
Beneath the Grounds: havent tested but should mess with your opponent's hand, it wont make nerubians for you unless drawn by an effect like warlock hero power.
Mech-Bear-Cat if your opponent puts this down, abuse it by generating as much spare parts as possible for him.
King Mukla: could be dangerous but should give some advantage late game when his deck has more bananas than a banana plantation
This brawl sucks, why?
#1) When you are winning, the opponent concedes early (turn 2-4)
#2) If it's a somewhat even match, the game takes forever.
#3) If you are losing... then it's more efficient to just concede.
Even though I dislike this brawl, this was one of my favorite moments of Hearthstone.
I enjoy.
There is a lot of steak here...
Top this lmao
