I spend most of time in Wild since I can enjoy my entire card collection. I also find that while Wild has broken stuff everywhere its still more enjoyable overall. I decided to give Standard a try. My goodness. As soon as ANY Titan gets dropped, Its pretty much GG. The effects are insane and their health is usually far too high to do much with outside of specific targeted removal.
So, I assume then its the usual "kill them before turn 5 so they cant play XXX card"? It wouldnt surprise me. But, I also find that the few times Ive got out a Titan that my opponent is cooked unless they were way ahead AND can instantly remove it. No minion based decks can remove titans easily at all. Geesh. Too bad. Those cards should all cost 8-10 mana minimum, IMO. How much more powerful will cards get? Within a few more expansions they'll print a ONE mana minion or spell that reads "Play this and instantly win. Can NOT be affected by counter spell or Objection secrets. LOL :)

Really? I thought I was pretty tame and reasonable, LOL. I even said I abuse it too, just seems they are too strong for their mana cost.
In my opinion it's a good thing. Titans are (pretty rare for Hearthstone) legendary cards, that feel "legendary" when you play them. In many other card games (for example Legends of Runeterra, Gwent etc.) legendaries always feel very strong, while in Hearthstone it's often the case, that even a common can be more important in a deck than a legendary (Hollow Hound, Refreshing Spring Water, Soul of the Forest etc.). Titans remind me of Galakrond cards or the OG Hero cards from Knights of the Frozen Throne and I am a big fan of cards like those. Of course, they cause the meta to shift around them, but I don't see why that should be a bad thing.
Sorry but to be honest with you they are not as difficult to deal with as you are describing. I’m in diamond and I don’t run removal spells - I run rush minions and I trade when I run into one. The only titan that I find legitimately difficult to clear out is Sargeras or Primus if he eats a large minion. They have been way less polarizing than hero cards or quests, which to me is a great change. If the biggest problem with the meta is a deck that uses secrets, no problem. we’ve had bigger problems to deal with
My Titans never survived 3 turns nor did any opponents Titan, so I havent seen a Titan attack face yet.
Also I havent died to any Titan, other then mage so far, so no they dont end games usually.
It's not rly the Titans fault if ppl play decks that cant handle them. That pretty much reminds me of ppl complaining about theotar, when they played a Deck with a Single win condition.
I mean, sure a Titan means trouble but that is exactly how they should feel, many of them are actually not strong enough yet.
Only the warlock titan is a problem, that damn imp portal. Most titans never survive past their first turn, theres just too many ways to deal with them

Still better than when someone finishes a quest(line)

You can use minions to deal with Titans. Use rush, silence (starfish), Sylvanas, poisonous, shrink-effects (paladin), your own Titan, etc.
Or just run hard removal. It is allowed outside of control decks.
