Hey guys. After the forthcoming expansion being announced, i am struggling to find motivation to pre-purchase.
What i have today: 4800 gold (approximetely will get to 6k gold mark just before the Titans release with daily and weekly quests) and , most importantly , i have 62k of dust right now. So basically i can craft a whole one new set or maybe even two.
Anyway i ask you to help me here to figure out , if you were me would you buy pre-purchase or not?
Its 80 or 50 for only a small part of the content of 1 expansion. That is too much imo. One can buy some complete games for that price on a steam summer sale. Just for the pricing alone i will not buy it no matter what position i am in with current collection/gold/dust.
Apart from the price, 4800g and 62k dust is a big buffer to sit on and should be good enough.
If you're willing to spend money but want to cheapskate through this expansion, you can probably get by with the battlepass plus one of the bundles blizz puts out when the expansion drops - there is often one with 10 expansion packs, 10 standard packs and 2 legendaries for around half the cost of the small preorder. This assumed you're willing to burn through some of that dust, and it's a risk as they don't announce those bundles in advance. I've been trying to cut down too as similarly have ridiculous amounts of dust unused.
If you can get every card for free why would you pay for them ? I don't understand your dilemma. If I had this amount of dust and a good chunk of gold I would never spend money anymore on the game
I have 0 gold and 0 dust and i'm still not going to buy the expension

my dilemma is to spend or to multiply.
I don't think that you'll see much growth coming from this investment thou ;)
I would ask my self "when will I spend all of my resources?". One day you'll quit playing this game and by then, every grain of dust will practically be wasted. Of course you can just make a lot of golden cards in the end, but you wouldn't post this if you just enjoyed spending money on the game right?
If I were you I would just get the battle pass for the green XP and other cosmetic features that make me feel better and start butchering some of that dust. You won't even spend half of it anyway.
I promised myself to only purchase bundles and items in the shop which doesn't contain any random element.
So no pre-orders, pack bundles, only mini-sets, skins or battle-passes.
My experience with the game is a lot more positive this way. You always imagine all the shiny golden legendaries you want to open and end up with regular Duskfallen Avianas instead. This way you get what you pay for.
It depends on how you play the game. Lately, I haven't even needed to buy packs with gold, let alone cash. There are so many "free" packs available from promotions, events, and regular rewards that I'll probably open 50, or more, on the day of each expansion release, and after that, save them up for the next expansion.
The caveat for me is that I mainly stick to one class, and I've never tried to have a complete collection. I don't need to disenchant anything, and I can craft any interesting epic or legendary that I want. Eventually -- several expansions from now, if I'm still playing -- my dust reserve may dwindle, and I'll buy some packs with gold again. But probably never another pre-order.
With 26K golds it’s safer to buy just packs , like 50 or 80 euros just for packs it’s just too much.I rather buy a game or even DLC then RNG based packs.Making gold is easier then was before , so no point to spend real life money.

Thanks mate. Good idea to buy BP instead of Pre-purchasing.
