It's crazy how incompetent team 5 is. They don't manage to nerf things properly and buff things that were not stupid, so the game becomes even more dumb.
It is literally that every patch the game becomes more pointless. And making a game worse with every balance patch is an art team 5 seems to have mastered. It's just mindblowing!
I know they've attempted to try and bring classes which arent seeing play into the meta by buffing stuff, but the problem isn't always the classes that arent seeing play. It's the two classes that did see play.
Nerfing those two classes AND buffing the other classes is such a stupid way to make a balance patch and just results in more OP decks.
To be honest I'm kinda thinking that maybe the problem is the game itself. It just doesn't have the complexity to allow interesting new ideas, so for new cards to be played they basically have to be broken.
I know that I am certainly not really enjoying the way Hearthstone games end up now. Cards like Astalor that give every deck a win condition. High-roll stuff like shaman which functionally ends games on turn 2/3 with a bit of luck. Aggro decks that just keep on going with endless draw - board after board.
It's just not that much fun to me any more, but hey - no one is making me play...
The patch was good, but insufficient. It addressed balance in the meta, but not "unfun" decks. It is not very fun to play against decks that deal 40+ damage from hand. I can pack lifesteal minions and health restoring spells, but it does not make for a very compelling gameplay.
Brann makes everything worse in this regard, and I cannot understand why it was left out of the patch.
the problem in my opinion is that the blizzard team makes "packages" with extreme synergy like fx Imp warlock. The decks become so insanely good if you play this package of imps and their utility card that if you don't then you are doing yourself a disfavor. a few of these card may not be a problem as we seen, but overtime more cards will be added to the utility deck like we see in the wild format with discard warlock and now the meta is so fast that you need to build your own deck with one of these packages for yourself to have a chance-- now all the decks look the same because only a handful of the cards in rotation has the synergy in order to compete.
I could write about many more examples but ill end it here for now

I agree more can be done, but why do you think this patch made it worse (and not less worse)?
I’m enjoying this patch (at least day 1) a lot better personally.
Priest is absolutely BROKEN right now.

Who the fuck tought that buffing unholy DK that much was a good idea?
TBH Curselock isn't even that good; the fact that's it's even playable makes me not play.
This patch was good
Priest has the second lowest winrate. Wtf are you talking about

Rogue is still the best at high lvl. Tired of it so much.
Go play wild it's better than standard and it will always be
