Guys it's easy! Tapping your own blood is the exact same thing as being injured by a harmful source. Just like having a gut surgery is the same as being assaulted and stabbed under anesthesia. The same goes for paying a cards mana cost with health. That's the exact same as if the card actually costs 0 mana, but then damages you as you play it. That's why you can pay for it with health that you don't even have and even run from the bill if something prevents you from paying. I'm gonna try if it works the same on my next restaurant visit. Wish me luck!
Yeah, give them insane card draw and then let them play a 6/6 taunt for free (...).
It's not free, cost is always reduced to 1, but you have to get rid of 20 cards from your deck first, which is almost impossible without self-mill (meta is too fast). And I wouldn't say Warlock has insane draw, it's just single card Backfire and Hero Power. Now compare it to Demon Hunter, Mage or Rogue...
I was worried the nerfs would reduce warlocks playrate in wild. Fortunately they didn't so I can keep farming them
You're farming them with what?
From D5 to legend, besides mirror losses. I just lost to 1 Shadow priest and 2 Quest Hunter.
Man, I really want to one day see proof of this. Everyone on this forum claims they're high legend with 94% winrate constantly. But no one ever posts game records.
Did I claim high legend or 94%wr? Nope! And I'm just a casual that enjoy wild.
Just asked the guy a legit question, because the only real counter to questlock it's actually the mirror or the clunky tax DH
You claimed you're legend and that you only had 3 losses across D5>Legend (plus a few mirror matches).
And no, they aren't the only real counter. Questlock's worst matchup is Secret Pally, against which they have a 28% winrate. Face Hunter and Ele Sham both push lock to the 30s, and Quest Druid/Quest Rogue/Spriest are around mid 40s for Warlock. And that's ignoring unique decks that run counter cards. Granted that's Standard since Wild's play rate is so low you cant get good data, but the idea holds true in Wild as well - any deck that delays them and kills them faster than they can finish the quest wins.
I dunno about warlocks. I find that i just stomp them easily with face hunter. Never been a problem deck for me.
The problem is that quest decks are boring to play with or against. There will be more nerfs soon as these changes hardly did anything for the game. I will just stick to other modes until then.
Seems like all nerfs ever did is making place for paladin taking over the game again (yawn)
I play mostly control hunter (wild) and early aggression like T1 coin hero power, then spam HP and gg. U won. Some decks running alot heal, but then U have time for value. I think hunter counters easy with HP only...

I farmed them with Shadow aggro Priest and just reached legend beating 3 warlocks in row. The decks I faced in diamond 1 and 2 was changed bit though and I lost to a few warlocks because they teched in defile which I didn't face at all climbing from bronze 10 to diamond 3.
I don't keep track of my games, so I can't post any winrate against warlock but I won the far majority of my games against them.

Yeah, I'm gonna say 1 mana instead of 6 is essentially free. Mortal Coil is card draw. Free Admission is card draw. Hand of Gul'dan is card draw. Play Stealer of Souls, draw a bunch, play them for health, heal with Soul Fragment, reduce the cost of your cards with Runed Mithril Rod, and play the taunts that you happened to draw. Warlocks easily draw and play 10 cards a turn. "Wow, I got you to 7 HP but now I can't do anything because you just played half your deck, healed to 15 and put out taunts." Super balanced.

There are literally two, Barrens Scavenger and Demonic Assault. Some Warlocks run one, some none and very few run both.

Darkglare was never the problem in Wild. Crystallizer on the other hand..
Darkglare was always a problem in wild until the questline got released. Now I agree, he is not really the offender any more
