If you are not a robot then please prove that you have a sense of individuality by going to the dreaded forbidden deck builder menu, create your own deck and play it for at least 10 games.
Bronze rank, no one creates their own decks. Silver none, Gold none, etc. Even casual mode have standard netdecked decks lurking around.
I'd consider myself more sane when I watch paint dry everyday than to force myself to play against another copy and paste deck.
Well, you are kinda right that playing against the same decks over and over is annoying, but part of the fun is also making your own decks to try to counter them. You can't expect others to do what you want, specially strangers on the internet.
Also, if you really want a lot of variety, I recommend you to play arena (as I usually do). It's not balanced (neither is standard), but at least it is much more fun than most other game modes (at least for me).
I really enjoy playing the game, but I don’t enjoy crafting decks and thinking about synergies at all. I do, however, enjoy playing an intelligently built deck which makes you think about every move. I do not see how that would be a bad thing.
I never used and never will copy&paste netdecks, always play with my own creations, sometimes works sometimes don't, but is too much demand to the spoiled, lazy and braindead players of this new generation to have balls, imagination and devotion to the hard work.
I've noticed that a LOT of my opponents are not playing decks that I WANT them to play. They're playing lame and unoriginal netdecks while I am playing my subpar "Special Snowflake" deck.
Could you at least have the decency to submit your deck list ahead of time so that I may let you know if I approve of your deck? If not, you are wasting MY valuable time.
Also, please don't try to tell me that I should let people play what THEY want. This is my internet and my game. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely,
Your Arrogant Little Special Snowflake
Always that one player that defends the opposing side for no reason other than to troll. Yes, you are completely right. This is my internet and I want everyone to behave like the way I do. It is not like the majority of Hearthstone's "internet" aren't behaving like "mindless drones by copy pasting decks with no original thought or display of unique individuality" already.
Now after we established that, now what? Are you happy? Did I gain your approval Mr. Random person on the internet?

Did you? You are the one whos complaining calling other people mindless robots because they dont play the game the way you like. Honestly the fact that you seem to be unaware that is what you are doing is baffling.
If you like the game, play it. If you dont like it dont. If you think you can make it better with at change voice your opinion, but do not shit on people for liking a game you so obliviously dont

You know ladder is ladder for a reason. The strongest decks can compete with eachother, if this is about casual then i kind of agree with you.
Also don't assume someone copied a deck because they play a well known card on turn 1. A lot of people tech their own decks. I also look at Hsreplay and then put my own flavour over it. Swapping like 5 or 6 cards, sometimes even 3 or 4. It can honestly bring a deck to a complete new direction.
Create your own deck = create bad decks and never take inspiration from other people's ideas ?
Because I've created many meta decks without knowing, most deck builders will eventually end up with very similar builds for a given archetype.
There is fun in creating, refining and playing powerful decks, even if they end up exactly the same as some streamer netdeck.
So how do you know the meta deck you faced is a netdeck and not an original creation ? That's right, you don't know.
How do you know they are the exact same decks every time you face them if you didn't see the 30 cards ? That's right, you don't know.
You would like to face more fun and diverse decks, because you're getting stomped by meta decks. That's understandable, we've all had this feeling. But you should understand that this is an online game, aka a competitive game (don't blame me for human nature), and most people actually don't want to face a diverse meta, they want to face only meta decks and learn the matchups extensively.
I'm kind of in the middle, I like fun decks, I like making all kinds of small variations to existing builds, or trying to figure out that one original idea that nobody has had before, but I also understand the difference between fun and meme, and I don't expect to climb as fast as everyone else with my non optimal decks. I also like to play pure cancer T1 aggro Wild decks from time to time.
Why can't you understand that you're not alone in this world and everyone has his own idea of what fun means ?
Also, you blame people for not giving a shit about deck building, but your type of people doesn't strike me as particularly good deck builder. You're that guy who never plays or builds aggro decks because they require no skill, and that guy who never plays or builds T1-T2 decks because they are too popular, right ?
Last but not least, please show me a deck you've built that you consider not "copy and paste", and I will prove you wrong.

How dare you not swap at least 28 cards you filthy netdecker ?
I never used and never will copy&paste netdecks, always play with my own creations, sometimes works sometimes don't, but is too much demand to the spoiled, lazy and braindead players of this new generation to have balls, imagination and devotion to the hard work.
Yeah but if your own creation looks similar to a netdeck, people like the op will blame you for netdecking regardless.
If you spend so much time building your own decks you will inevitably discover strong meta decks, why can't people understand that ? If you've never built or refined a T1-T2 deck by yourself, then find out days or weeks later it's become a super strong and popular deck, then stop building decks, it's not for you.
There's someone's original creation behind every netdeck. That's a lot of people that don't netdeck.
That's how this game works. For 99% of all players winning = fun. And unless you're an absolute genius like Kibler, you won't win with wacky homebrew decks. You'd rather take a refined list from a pro to win with.
I've noticed that a LOT of my opponents are not playing decks that I WANT them to play. They're playing lame and unoriginal netdecks while I am playing my subpar "Special Snowflake" deck.

Please convince me that people who netdeck aren't mindless robots. Why would I consider the two players "FaceHugger" and "FaceMelter" ,that both play the same Aggro Hunter deck with the same "play a card as soon you draw it" basic strategy, as two different individuals if humans at all even? If the game had more decision making that really differentiate between player A and player B then I will start considering people as humans and not robots again.

Because the only way to have fun is to WIN with a GOOD DECK right? I want to win or lose with my shitty/"good" deck while playing against more than 3 decks played by what essentially 3 different mindless drones. I have my own fun when I lose or win. Do you have a problem with the way I have fun?
If the only way to have fun is to WIN then half the player base would quit after losing.

I don't care about the way you have fun, go ahead and play your shit T5 homebrew I will gladly crush it with my T2 homebrew, you're the one with a problem here. I never said the only way to have fun is to win with a good deck. Make up whatever story you like to feel better about your selfishness but do not pretend that I told you the story.
All I'm saying is you shouldn't care about how I enjoy the game, and I shouldn't and certainly won't care about how you enjoy the game. It is for everyone and if the majority says "I want to netdeck to win more games", then you're going to face a majority of netdecks, and it's fine, and these people aren't intellectually inferior to you.
Now as I said, please show me one of your homebrew decks, I'll show you 1000 other people that have had the same idea for a deck and that you're nothing more than another robot.

There are about 23.5 million players in Hearthstone of course there will be 1000 players that share my deck idea. The question and problem is, why are they only 1000 players and where are they??? do I need to face 1000 Netdeck Paladin and 1000 Netdeck Mage to finally find someone with a semi unique deck idea?
It's day 3 of a MINI(!)-set release. What the heck did you expect to happen when 30 cards are released? Every class got access to what...8 cards or something? What do you expect from a game where the entire meta has been either aggro or mana cheating? What do you expect from a large community and a small card pool? That's exactly what happens all the time.
That being said, Shaman climbed from rank 10 to rank 2 in hsreplay. I have even met 3 different shaman decks since WC released and I didn't even know the class existed. Is that enough of a change for you? Of course, people play the most aggro deck right after set release when others experiment. It's called incresing your winrate.
You shouldn't doubt other people's intelligence and at the same time display complete saltiness for no reason.
I always tell people to take a break from the game because I know first hand that that's the best thing to do when you are as salty as you are. You should try that.
