DH is 45/48% WR in general what are u talking about? Priest is maybe less than 45% xD And the game has 3 or 4 decks around, maybe cause is the first expansion after rotation but anyway...one of the worst designs ever made. Time to look for another game, from now on the stuff will gone worse.
If you think that 45-48% winrate decks mean a game is broken and poorly balanced, then I encourage you to try other games and find out what unbalanced really means.
The meta has settled into a rather terrible place. It cannot be fixed, either.
Rogue often has turns playing 7 or 8 cards, and this is while they have 3 or 4 mana.
How many cards a game does Priest discover? They raise dead scorpion discovers and septic Veilweavers non-stop. How many scorpions does a Priest play in a game? 6? 8?
Druid sometimes has a full board first turn without a coin! And if they aren't token Druid, they tend to do Guardian Animals when opponent has 4 mana.
Warlocks, but how many times can you clear a board as Warlock, especially if you decide to run the 4 mana 5 damage to all minions spell Soul Rend? And at Turn 9 you can Jaraxxus up and even Priest can't deal with it.
Demon Hunter can Lifesteal OTK on 7 mana from hand with no minions on board while they destroyed your board every turn all game.
The meta has a great number of severe problems, so you have to reach for the quickest deck.
I'm actually playing Aggro Paladin now because it is the only deck that clears Rogues minion vomit and pressures Druid severely.
I am starting to realize that if they nuked Mage, Rogue would just roll over most classes.
4 mana feels like late game turns. This isn't the worst meta ever -- maybe not even one of the worst --- but worse than how hard and fast your deck needs to hit, how are they going to do expansions with meanful cards when most viable decks are so aggressive and fast?
I honestly believe that the game has a pretty high skill cap atm (maybe not for pala), pretty much every class has solid decks. Just shaman is unlucky.
The thing is because of said skill cap, the common dude feels like everything is broken and in fact all classes have the potential for broken plays. That's why there is such a skill cap, if you dont know how to play around or force certain plays you'll be smashed hard and easy.
In 90% of the games I lost I simply failed at one Point. The rest is unwinnable due too heavy high rolls or bad draws. This numbers are a wild guess ofc.
So my Point on topic is that the meta is in a very good (not perfect) shape and the game is just not easy to play atm.
Variety is a issue to some degree but all classes playable from bottom to top is a good thing.
Most classes (outside of Shaman & Warlock) have at least one playable/good deck, but many of those decks are not so easy to pilot correctly. Out of all good decks, Paladin ones are probably the easiest ones to pilot relatively well and that's why they are so popular, without being objectively stronger than Miracle Rogue, Control Priest or OTK Demon Hunter for example.
And of course everything is broken. The game has moved a long way from the time where a turn 4 Yeti was a strong play

That's Priest win con though, discover a way to win. Untill the actually know WTF they want to do with Priest in regards to winning games expect that to be the way.
Shaman the other class i tend to play is just horrible. No healing, No Card Draw, No Win Condition, Hero Power is useless, Bring back Shudderwock and battlecrys as their thing...
I mean most of the complains are not THAT big of a problem. Except Paladin. And the main issue is Conviction. Ranked Spells tend to be underperforming at rank 1. How is 1 mana 3 damage bad? That's insane! And rank 2, it's 1 mana Fireball. At rank 3, it's almost a 1 mana Pyroblast. 2 mana 18 damage, how is that balanced? Conviction should give 2 attack. I think it's one of the most broken cards they have printed that I can remember...
Seems pretty diverse. There are at least six classes that have a very strong deck right now. Biggest surprise to me is that deathrattle DH suddenly became viable (and it's giving me fits as warlock). I think there was a serious shortage of sticky boards for most of the last several months so minion-based decks kind of went out the wayside because of how cheap removal was.
Bummed out that Libram Paladin is back (not that it ever really had much reason to go away). But it's just been an obnoxiously strong deck for multiple cycles now.
But ultimately I'm a Shaman main, so this is kind of a drag for me. Oh well; maybe the mini set will be kinder.

Yeah Blizzard has really painted themselves into a corner with priest at this point. The discover is just way out of control right now. It’s just too much with Raise Dead into Sethekks & Scorpids. Priests can consistently discover 20+ cards a game in control matches. As it stands right now, the class is flat out unbearable to play against with these new builds running scoundrels & eleks. I didn’t think anything could be worse than queueing into Mage, but Priest is really starting to wear on me. I honestly think raise dead should cost mana. It probably wouldn’t drastically change things, but it’s a start.
I’m really hoping the mini-set will shake things up a bit, but I honestly don’t even know what they could print to fix this meta. Those 35 cards are really gonna need to be on point for things to really change. Nevertheless, I remain cautiously optimistic.
What "diversity" are we talking about? Standard is just Dumb Paladin and even Dumber Mage. Thats it. Oh and a Tickatus thrown in here and there. Worst meta ever. Something about unlimited card draw being a problem but Blizzard doesnt care.
