Cheap free to play decks will never be nerfed, get over it. They need boring no brainer decks so f2p players can stand a chance.
I’d rather watch the paint dry than play hunter
Of course. Because playing Control Warlock is so much fun. So much thought into each play. SMH.
Control players have a tendency of thinking they are superior just because they play control, when actually the same principles you would apply in aggro decks are applied in control. Both types of decks need to know how to manage resources and what to not throw away, the difference is only on the pacing that each deck has.
This exact statement can be applied to every hard-o who thinks themselves to be of superior intelligence because they play the game solely with their "homebrew" deck which is nothing more than the Tier 1 or 2 deck with the weakest card replaced with one which does nearly the same thing

Oh yeah you gotta love those people. “My Rogue.” Literally just current miracle rogue running yoink as a one of or something lol.
So many hunters in this thread. "Face it" guys, hunter deals way too much damage with Rhino 7/7 x 5 in the deck. It needs a nerf just like triple Tickatus decks (I lost with 11 Solarian Prime in my deck by fatigue, yes it's an issue that needs to be resolved and no I don't play Lunacy)
The only nerf I want to see for Hunter is to piercing shot. It should only target enemy minions.
Because there's always gotta be that next nerf, amirite? Fireball is a direct six damage for four mana, but God forbid if hunter has a 4-cost spell that can do <6 to face if they sacrifice one of their own creatures to do it.
I have to say, this last round of nerfs was even more hilarious than normal, because as half of the complaint registry is switching to hunter, the other half is still insisting that Mage and Paladin werent nerfed ENOUGH!
Obviously that claim isn't true, as Mage is clearly unable to reliably hold against hunter when a week ago it wasn't having those issues. But the writing was all over the wall when those nerfs got announced that the only archetype that could possibly benefit from them was aggro. Pen Flinger was taken away as a sustained damage option, mage was slowed, posts were weakened . . . only possible outcome was more direct minion attacking.
What really gets me is while Hunter is sitting clearly on top of the meta, rather than discussing warrior and paladin options that will win against Hunter, we're still talking shit about Tickatus Lock. Because priorities . . .

Enjoying Americans winning in the Olympics is forbidden because it is political. A 14 plus page discussion of state-sponsored lawsuits against a multi-national corporation based on harassment, discrimination, and wrongful death allegations is apparently not political enough to raise an issue.
The problem isnt hunter, its as someone posted a few days ago, card draw. If you play aggro you are going all in to win by turn 5-6, but nowadays aggro players have a lot of draw to refill easily. The game plan was to stall and heal until they run out of steam and topdeck, but now tracking, quick shot, discover a beast, draw a beast, etc....
Also there arent much healing currently in the game for classes to survive the onslaught
They should nerf the trapling Rhino decrease it's attack by two
I feel like that would completely eliminate the purpose of Trampling Rhino altogether. Why even make that change? Hunter doesn't have cards that are problematic enough to warrant any changes - it's only dominant right now because control decks aren't good.
Instead why don't we buff control decks instead of ruining an actually cool and useful card.
Hunter can be outplay against control matches.(Miracle rogue, secret paladin decks, priest, warrior, control warlock,)
I have %90-%100 win rate against face hunters with Miracle Rogue
I think the subject should be Paladin needs to be nerfed.Random paladin deck can dominate the meta :) Every card is ******* strong and dont have bad matchup.Paladin was overpowered before new cards.New cards are also very strong.Last nerf was nothing for paladin. It's same strong strong strong.I'm tired of playing against the paladins.Paladin decks are really disgustingly talentless.
If one class will be nerfed it's absolutely Paladin.
No need for a nerf at all. But if it has to happen, target cards that work only (or mainly) in SMORC hunter decks. Someone mentioned piercing shot, intrepid initiate and knife vendor belong in this category too. Don't nerf the tools that give other hunter archetypes (combo or midrange) a possibility to exist, like rhino.
Piercing Shot is a 5 mana deal 5 damage to the opponent (can't have a 0 health minion) ... uh ...
Step 1 - play a 1 mana 1/1 on your side - cost 1 mana
Step 2 - target it with Piercing Shot to kill it and deal 5 damage to the opponent - cost 4 mana.
That is not nerf-worthy. It is actually kinda a cool combo that I used to do with Corrosive Breath ... anyway, then why doesn't Fireball get nerfed to only deal damage to minions ... no.
Problem I see with Hunter is the lack of counterplay other than mass heals. You can't lose early board unless you want to get smacked in the face, but you cant also have low health minions on the board because you will get smacked in the face. Piercing shot is the bigger offender I think. I like Rhino it is a fun card but the shot is quite problematic, especially since they can target their own 1/1s for 5 damage face
Totally disagree, i play EU and 5 of the 10 games are hunter but I beat them easy with warrior and control warlock and midrange/face shaman, not sure about priest but I think they also can beat them. I think the meta is pretty stable now shaman is a bit to weak tho.

Yea, the issue with shaman is blizzard seems to not want to give it card draw. It doesn't even have far sight. It has a 3 mana draw one card at the end of your turn. Feelsbadman. Shaman can feel really bad when it's the best deck in the game though. They could though push a midrange variant that is more minion based with some burn spells. That's what they have tried to do with elementals actually, but with no card draw, the deck runs out of gas. If you are going to play a deck that runs out of gas, you may as well play something faster like face hunter.

I can agree with everything you've said EXCEPT this.
I love you Dreadsteed, I will never disenchant you!

What? The meta is pretty stable right now. Rush Warrior, Murloc Pala, Aggro Pala, Control Priest, Control Warrior, Rogue, they all work vs Hunter.
Good news for you downvotes don't exist in forum threads! Only on decks and comments on them, articles, and cards.
Zzzzzzzzzz hunter needs nerf this class need nerfed this deck is to op shut up already
You’re not bad because everything is always op all the time, you’re bad because you think everything is op all the time.

Other one probably face hunter :)
Tempo decks don’t need a nerf. They shape the meta. So adapt...... or cry for nerfs.
such salt much BM.
