it's random, keep as it is. In wild a Spell mage version with that troll card is several times worse, specially with ice block around. Nothing to change here, random stuff is balanced by itself, it's random uh dur.

Uh dur is absolutely right. If you actually bothered to read, you’d see it really isn’t that random in standard, which is the entire issue.
You only get that card if you have 5 cost spells which is useally from cthun, the best version of the deck doesn't use that and has a very limited amount of bad cards in the pool.
I alternate between roping and conceding. If somebody really wants to collect wins to hit legend with this cheese, they can wait while I take every last second of my turn.
Nerf suggestion: still 2 mana, still same effect, but it should state spells from all time.
this is the easy fix: the card is competitivly unplayable in wild because the pool of spells is way to big. This would be a creative nerf and it would solve the standard problem.
i would recommend the same nerf for jandice
just let it summon 5 drops from the whole minion pool
That the deck is likely getting more is probably causing more players to use it while they can. The deck is even awful in Wild, so this might be the only chance.
I just start trolling, let them mages wait... screw this card/deck.
Ah, but they don't have to wait long if they hit the nuts. Seems to be roughly 50/50 for me, though feels slightly favoured; probably skewed by the T2 lunacy into T3 nourish/skull shenanigans that's over by T5, as well as my early games learning the deck. I'm much weaker to paladin than Lunacy, but that's how the deck goes, always weaknesses.
Wonder how many people I've confused by dropping actual minions in mage, and never a Lunacy? :P

There is still bad cards u get the Druid one thst summons 2 beast from deck circle of imps deck chaos

I have gotten circle of imps with out Cthun in deck and guarding animals and deck of chaos
Yes mages should have 1 mana siphon soul and 3 mana twisting nethers. Fun!
Any tips or trick on how to play around this card when the mage could literally have ANY spell?
I think conceding is the way to go
Its most fun when you oh my yogg their DOL and then they get it back with ruined orb the very next turn

Played on a different computer later, maybe played against less mages (All Lunacy BTW - before and after).
Well, 2% less lol - couldn't play Standard anymore. This is getting ridiculous... the player base is actually getting worse.

d3, 12 games today, 10 mages, all DoL. I rope erveryone of them and spam some emotes.
