All jokes aside, I would very much like to see some of the best of tribal cards brought together, like BlackRock dragons and Un'Goro elementals. Priest dragon and elementals shaman have been some of my favorite decks historically. Although it would also be neat to see things like death knights, class weapons and old quests again, but I doubt they would be included, since they're isn't a dh counterpart.
What about you peeps? Any old favorites you are hoping make a comeback?
Definitely Dirty Rat. Good thing is that core set changes every year so they can remove dirty rat if they feel combo players will complain too much about it.
Looking forward to seeing Shadow Priest back in some capacity, just not shadowreaper Anduin version. It was a shame they removed this archetype altogether instead of balancing it when it is so thematically sound and an alternative play style to control priest.
I'm not sure. For constructed I only play Wild anyway, so this option won't affect me other than for Arena rotations. Certain tech cards should always be in the Classic set, or at least versions of them. Dirty Rat was mentioned as one. Any one of the secret removal dudes (Kezan, Eater, SI:Inf) should be there. Stuff like Acidic Swamp Ooze should always be there. Various 'teaching' cards should always be there; what I mean by that are cards that either showcase certain abilities (like Emperor Cobra for poisonous or Harvest Golem for simple 'sticky' deathrattle minions) or cards that help 'teach' you why they're bad and how to improve your deck. Some really basic vanilla cards like Chillwind Yeti and Boulderfist Ogre should be there. Cards that handhold you on how to design combos should be there, to help teach people how to think; an excellent simple example is Injured Blademaster. People used to combo that with cards like Circle of Healing or Ancestral Spirits. (if you can believe it, the original resurrect priest when Resurrect came out had that as basically its best early game target) Cards like King Mukla teach that giving your opponent a benefit can be worth it if the payoff is high enough, and also help players learn to use the drawback to their advantage (mill their next draw, play Spellbinder to 'catch' a banana, etc)
And last, but certainly not least... BRING BACK ORIGINAL SECRETKEEPER ART. That was literally my favourite art in the classic set, and the Chinese went and ruined it for me :(

Well considering that blue post I saw confirming succubus isn't getting unnerfed, I wouldn't hold your breath for that last one.
Also, I see your points, but I would be sad to see cards that are bad for that sake of being an example of a bad card. Is it that important for the standard core to have a 2 mana 2/3 with no effect to teach us to expect more from our cards? The classic set still exists, so I don't believe so.
Too bad divine spirit is definitely not returning, but dragon/shadow priest is most welcome. For once, I want the infantile memers to have an actual reason to cry over priest, whilst a tier S priest deck is killing them nonstop.
Dirty Rat and Zilliax are my other top choices, along with Zeph.

I mean, based on card counts with 54 neutral cards from the basic set alone, there's gotta be a few vanilla 2/3s and 3/2s and whatever.
Zilliax (ofc) Curator seems like a really good addition to standard, making N'Zoth more viable. Dr. Boom is a fan favourite and he would be run in Hunter and Midrange decks.

Enter the Colosseum so that Paladin can finally have some removal again.
Each class will have 4 cards returning from wild (except dh). For Shaman I really want to see in Core Unstable Evolution (imo it's far better and balanced than casual Evolve), Ancestral Knowledge, Healing Vawe or Healing Rain, and Tunnel Trogg indeed, a strong opener for every game.
Zilliax
Raza the Chained and Shadowreaper Anduin
"A bargain forged in blood and shadow"
"Out of my jungle."
Brann Bronzebeard and Baron Rivendare. They are neutral, they are straightforward, and they allow for tons of cool interactions.
Don't let your memes be dreams.
Jade Idol of course!
Jade Idol plus wandmaker. *shudder*
Maybe if we also get skulking gheist. Although, I wonder if jade idol would be considered anti-Tickitus tech.
"Out of my jungle!"
"The menagerie is for guests only"
"I have no time for games!"

But that is just, like, my opinion, man.
Zilly aka the most balaced card in HS

Why is noone mentioning Reno Jackson? There were plenty of complains when this card went to the wild...
I dunno if every class will get 4 wild cards. I think some classes (like Paladin and Shaman) will get more than others (like Mage).
Medivh, Dirty Rat, Zap, Thunderhead, Branching Paths, Tar Creeper, Radiant Elemental, Siamat, Darkshire Alchemist, Priest of the Feast for starters.

What is your obsession with that card that you post this again? You already posted it to the news article as well and it's simply wrong.
Paladin had and has different forms of removal. Enter the Colosseum wasn't even played much as EQ+Consecration or Pyro+EQ was simply superior.
