This is sure to tilt some folks and if you're in that small minority, then so be it. I am but one of the countless players who find the current insanely over-tuned and overpowered version of DH to be absolute cancer to the hearthstone metagame. Blizz has made modest changes during AoO, but then reloaded DH with scholomance, and we've gotten nowhere as a result. To fix this, I propose a community-wide initiative aimed at addressing the DH problem by serving them a dose of their own medicine, i.e., sucking the fun out of the game.
Thanks to the new rewards system, time spent playing matches is actually rewarded, and long games net more XP. Therefore, when qued against a DH, I propose roping every single turn until the match is complete. To add to the effect, play priest and heal through whatever damage the DH throws your way. You actually gain by roping against them, so there is no net negative on your end, and you get to throw their fun sucking BS right back in their face. At worst, you lose (often inevitable result, as we well know), but you still gain more XP for extending the game AND you sucked a bit of life out of them, so it's a net win. At best, you win naturally, OR they concede (middle fingers up, deuces), and you get your win bonus.
This is not a permanent fix, nor is it in the vein of 'good sportsmanship,' but when a system is being leveraged so heavily in favor of one specific class for months on end, those taking advantage of the system deserve to eat the same crow they're blissfully serving everyone else.
Evil will continue to 'draw close', but it's going to take a while to get there.
To answer your 'low pricetag' comment, I actually have a HUGE pricetag on my time which is why wasting it on DH garbage gets under my skin. When I say rope, I don't mean stare at the screen and rope, I mean dual screen or minimize window while being productive elsewhere. It's cool, I had incredibly low expectations for the peanut gallery's ability to extrapolate beyond their initial impression of what roping meant above.
And to the cashier CEO reference.. that would imply that DH is a blizzard employee, rather than a paying customer. I'll fix your misaligned metaphor for you though! It's more like one type of customer gets express lane shopping and the rest of the customers are stuck in long lines where are forced to pay in coins only. There, fixed it.
I'm saying your idea is just going to shoot other players and not effect the game the way you think it will.
People playing demon hunter are not the problem. Being massively annoying to them will not "fix" the problem.
I think you're upset about something else and just needed to vent on the forum. That's fine, get it all out. Then go back to being productive or whatever it is you think you're doing.
Your heart seems to be in the right place, but you're missing the point. I don't think roping DH players is going to make blizzard all the sudden pay attention and change everything so that everyone can piss gold and shit rainbows. "Shooting" the players playing DH actually is the intended goal. Massive annoyance is the goal.
People don't play black/blue in magic because they're expecting the other player to enjoy their experience. Priest isn't played with emphasis on thief-based cards to enable the opponent to have a great time. In the same vein, DH isn't played to promote an equal exchange of turn-based camaraderie. Since you insist on to taking a stab at psychoanalysis on the interwebs, feel free to take your two-cents back and invest it in an online psychology degree :) (It is the year of the Phoenix after all!)
Intentionally roping is really the lowest. Well below demon hunter mains. It also just exudes small dick energy. If you are facing a ton of demon hunters, try playing a different deck that is tuned against them and make lemonade. Control warrior is extremely favored. It sucks to get hit in the face for 20 damage. It sucks worse to have your board cleared and the opponent gaining board position and over 20 armor, plus maybe drawing a ton of cards. Being an asshole to players for playing the strongest build is just sad. If blizzard “fixes” demon hunter you will just find another deck to cry about, so I would suggest you find a way to enjoy the game or do something else that you enjoy.
Whining dudes, if you're talking about Casual mode, do whatever you want. It's always annoying when people play their polished decks over there, not having the courage to play ranked.
But with the new format I'm sure you mean ranked play. You're whining about people playing, according to you, the strongest deck(s) on ranked play. It's stupid. You make no sense. Either play them yourself if they're so strong, or figure out a counter deck if you're so smart. Pick one and stop crying.
Speaking for myself, I bet a lot of those "losers who play DH" don't have the collections you do, don't have the time to figure out all the other top decks or the ability to get the cards for them, or haven't leveled the NEWEST CLASS IN HEARTHSTONE to 60 yet so they want to freaking play that.
I'll stop playing DH when I want to stop playing DH. You think I can't work in another window too? Rope away, I'm laughing at you. We all are.

Nobody ropes at wild. One time I got roped when I played DH but it was really awkward; I get the feeling that you don't like DH but really, are you gonna rope vs my control highlander DH? I'm not face and haven't played single face deck with DH (Almost 940 wins) so your little roping pointed to wrong direction..
On the contrary, I think nerfs are coming soon. DH is 1/3 of meta at Diamond 1-4, almost 30% at top 1k legend. Last time we had such results, some nerfs were already introduced and they did not stop there.
The question is not when but what will be nerfed.

I didn't like the prices at the grocery store, so I acted like an arrogant jerk to the cashier.
That'll show the CEOs! Ha!
Ofcourse BlueTwo has a very low price tag on his own time.why shouldnt we all follow?
Sup DH kids!

Ah, okay, I got it. I thought you were trying to make a point and incite change, albeit in a terribly uneducated way.
No, I was wrong, you are just a troll.
Well played.
Join us in the sewers! You'll float too!
I like this
At least Blizzard is hearing community more than before, doesn’t attend all our complains but not deaf as used to be
nerfs to DH probably will be announced after tournament, I hope
Evil draws close
They'll probably nerf some over performing DH cards after the tournament.
But I don't think this is the most overpowered a class has been. This isn't even as broken as AoO DH was.

After the worlds they will announce nerfs there is no possibility that there will be no nerf to DH
It’s not the devs were trying to get the attention of its losers who play DH. Forehead af
If DH gets under your skin, concede and move on. What have you lost, some digital numbers? Oh no!
