Isn't it against the rules, you sit there till turn 7+ and then watch him play cards till you die? Or is it super rare that you can pull off the combo?
*Edit: Reasons for my question
1) It's an OTK Deck
2) It cheats Mana (all spells cost 0 Mana)
3) Similar to why Alexstraza got nerfed or Galakrond Rogue cards cost (1) instead of 0 Mana or Skull of Guldan ..
Why would it be "against the rules"? Anything that doesn't exploit bugs like old Nozdormu combos or the one that made the game crash for your opponent, is perfectly legal. Nerfs only address balance issues, if something's giving a class too much of an advantage.
And as far as unfairness goes, there are many things worse than Mozaki combos.
I don't know what class/deck you've been playing. But if you just "sit there till turn 8+" without getting close to beating your opponent, you are asking for such things to happen. If you stuff your deck with board clears, removals and heals and basically let your opponent do whatever he wants, then you are supposed to lose to such combos.
I completely agree with you. Losing against ANY type of deck should automatically ban that set of cards. Until you become a better player and think about playing similar decks, but the point is that you shouldn't lose, ever.
Another day, another poorly performing deck someone lost by once and, instead of posting it in the salt section, makes a new topic because he thinks it's "against the rules" and goes on an all-out to attempt to counter it.
If you can't win against a deck that "does nothing until turn 8", maybe the one silence isn't your problem.
Let the Mozaki mage have fun for one game. It's a really poor combo that rarely pulls off.
Literally seen this card played once. It was able to freeze and kill me over two turns. Once it happened I said, "that was neat": and moved on with my life.

play any aggro deck? since they need time to enable the combo like any other combo decks?
tbh mozaki mage is nowhere compared to turtle mage in terms of frustration
LMFAO not even that good OR toxic.

I litterly survived that combo with 4 hp thanks to my big Warriors deck that has rattlegore.
WHAT mage?
EU 11/2015+ , f2p 03/2021+: DK 63 / DH 205 /Dr 277 / Hu 733 / Ma 6666 / Pa 1072 / Pr 1165 / Ro 1791 / Sh 1303 / Wl 707 / Wr 664

So how many Mozaki mages have you faced so far, that lead you to create a thread just to complain about the deck?
Judging by the HSReplays numbers, the deck has a 44% win-rate and 1% play-rate - a nerf might not be needed . . .
The only time bug exploit I've ever heard them punish players for was Snip Snap lock and disabling animations...

Take a walk on the wild side...
I dont even have that card in my inventory anymore and I have no idea why.

Am I the only one who had to look up the card? Yeah, I don't think it's an issue lmfao

Imagine losing against mozaki mage
Why isn't "insert obscure deck that OP lost against" ban yet?
Turtle mage was nerfed for design space reasons
OP spoke of Mozaki, not Turtle. Wrong thread dude
The problem is Sorcerer's Apprentice, not Mozaki, just nerf it and don't allow 0 mana spells.
Yes exactly. Now with the new biscuit spell its even worse. Just need to be played more. Let's see.
