winning on turn 1 is healthy for the game :) gratz!
I personally don't see the issue in winning in turn 1. it is irrelevant if you win on turn 1, 2 or 12, the issue is when the deck win too much. It is an aggro deck, if you have the hand of the God, it is fine. What matter is the win/rate when it is too high, this deck has not a too high win/rate. 53,5% , so it is perfectly fine.

The problem with this mentality is that it's only a 30 card deck. If you had to fill a deck with 3000 cards and it was EXTREMELY unlikely to get the hand of the God, then I could appreciate that person's luck. Let's go to the other extreme: What if the deck was only 5 cards? Wouldn't winning on turn one seem trivial in a 5 card deck? There aren't that many cards in standard, and the fact that they made stuff like this not only possible, but relatively probable as well doesn't make me want to play this game. If you enjoy it, fine, but I don't really understand that mentality. The opponent made one decision that game, which is the same number of decisions that he or she would make if they were playing Rock, Paper, Scissors. Keep that in mind when you try to see things from your opponents perspective.
I don’t understand how people can enjoy playing this kind of decks, but to even brag about it is yet another level.
To annoy people like you? :P
It’s not exactly annoying since I farm aggro to reach Diamond (then there are less brainless decks), but I’d like to be able to play creative decks as soon as the month start. Then again I get my 4 or 5 packs a month thanks to you guys, and it’s always very satisfying to know that I’m slowing down your progress, so maybe I shouldn’t complain.
Sweet, wish it could be done in actual games, but first turn is only 45 seconds or so, doesn't work.
Yu-Gi you could (or maybe can, haven't played in a decade) take as long as you wanted, so you had the time to operate whichever infinite loop you were using for the First Turn Kill.
Not as big of a fan of this one though, since there is not much in your control or for you to fuck up. Since there isn't much specific draw going on, it's a whole lot of random wishing you pick up the cards you need. FTK decks in Yu-Gi you can make them somewhat consistent because you had controlled draw for what you needed.
There was a lot of agency you had, and a lot you could fuck up, not just pure luck. That makes it more fun. If you're going to watch your opponent play solitaire, actual solitaire not just normal combos that Hearthstone has that people don't like, you at least want the solitaire to be dependent on how well they do it and punish them for fucking up, it's not as satisfying if it's just pure good or bad luck deciding. Well i could provide u an update on a state of ygo today but heres a gist of it.
FTK deck won worlds once.
U do have a time limit in ygo so no infinite loops from time standpoint.
U will win a game if u call a judge on opponent that is stalling way too much resulting in their loss.
U have concept on ilegal moves after card resolved that would cause infinite loops in which in most cases card dont do a thing.
U can still make some degenerate loops but not as nearly as it was in 2010 with lets say Gishki or Frogs.
Specific card search does exist but most of the known ftk enablers arent part of an archetype or have some shitty search card.
Or in the case of many just str8 up is banned.
We had last "solitare phase" with Grinder golem and Firewall Dragon , Summon sorceress loops.
Briliant fusion got banned cuz it was too generic.

I mean, to annoy you on the forums, dude. Also, I don't like aggro too much either, I was just making an assumption of OP's behavior, that's all (doesn't matter if it was correct or not right now). I play games because I like challanges, not victory at all cost. :P
Would like to see more interruption in this one as well.
Hs would benefit from banlist
I feel like deck space is so tight these days.
And hp total is kinda low.
There u go. An update from a guy who played in tournament like 2 years ago and still plays sometimes.
You have time limits now? I mean, other than the match limit, that was already a thing. Do they limit your turns now? Damn.
Well, the illegal moves existed, but they were limited to loops that were "automated" and that didn't result in a change to the game state. You couldn't make a move if that resulted in an infinite loop that worked on it's own and wouldn't change the game state. You could still perform infinite loops that changed the game loop.
For instance, the infinite burn loop with Mass Drive, Dark Magician of Chaos, Dimension Fusion and Spell Economics was an infinite loop, but a loop you would perform, it wasn't automated. It was the "Exodia" Mage, which is wrongly named, it's just Infinite Burn Mage.
I can imagine that card causing a lot of dumb stuff, you just need to put an effect to control monsters and good luck.
HP was 8000, but I don't know how it works today when I don't know how it operates. After Synchros were introduced, I lost interest. I loved the game before that, it was the right speed in my opinion. Yeah you still had FTKs, but they always got hammered and nerfed to very inconsistent.
I mean, a while ago I checked the list and saw they had unbanned both Envoys, Thousand Eyes Restrict and a whole bunch of other cards. I can only imagine how insane things are when those cards are not even limited. Those cards were absurdly broken back in the day.
Hp part was for HS.
Time rules were introduced to prevent people timing out and grading out matches . This is especialy relevant in online with Neural network tournament due to quarantine.
Again loop rule is more relevant in online tournaments now. Well a lot of cards are banned for tournaments like Rainbow life.
8000 is enough for Ygo. There are decs that can smash trough u in after a turn or so but nothing too dramatic cuz of the cards like Red reebot, Ghost girl series , Called by the grave and similar things.
To be fair TER was never that good past 2008 and it really didnt deserve that much time on a banlist. Envoys are kinda mediocore cards, they are more reliant on Chaos decks to be good to work.

Fake!!!
Your opponent concede in turn 1 then don't count.
The true magic is win in turn 1 without the opponent give up.
:P
Someone already did an true FTK. Took him round 500 times.

DansGame spotted a control player
Also FTKs can exist in a game as long as :
1: They are incredibly inconsistent
2: You have a way to survive/counteract it.

This is one of the reasons why I main Devolving Missles in all my Mage/Shaman decks.
