Hey guys wondering what you guys have had luck with to counter the new Libram paladin. It’s all my facing at D5 and I’m having a terrible time beating em. There’s so much value every turn...
Control shaman with sliences (from new 3/3 Legendary or Zephrys), Hex and Devolving Missiles is best. Best versus paladin, i mean, shaman sucks very well to all other classes.
I'm not even sure if looking for a counter is worth the time and effort.
The expansion is out for almost a week and people have been complaining about Paladin since day one. Even if there are decks that can keep Paaldin in check, a balancing patch is probably already in preparation, so the meta will change again anyway.

Conservative Warrior
kek
Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
I’m kinda 4-1 against that with control warlock, but then it is quite off meta except this match up.

It looks like control warrior types can do it. But even if the paladin would be OP if beating other classes/decks with abnormal winrates.
Running 2 Plague of Murlocs in my control shaman, since libram paladins and guardian druids make for 75% of the matchups
I've have been playing Control Priest, and it seems to get the job done, vs. both Pala & Druid
Aggressive Rogues with weapons and Sap have been consistently beating them in my experience.
Control shaman, priest, warrior or warlock are able to handle them with hard removal and silence. You just have to play your cards conservatively.
Bounce effects (Sap), transform effects (Polymorph), shuffle effects (Bad Luck Albatross), or silence effects (Ironbeak Owl) are all really strong against Libram Paladin.
From my experience, my worst matchups have been Aggro Rogue, Control Priest, and Control Warrior (specifically because of Rattlegore).
I have a highlander warrior list you can check out,
here is a video from ecore100 so you can get a better understanding of the deck and how it plays.
Might end up addingTinkmaster Overspark instead of Commanding Shoutfor the extra polymorph effect as well.

Try my deck. If you are really facing lots of paladin switch a Bloodsail Raider for another Sap
Conservative warrior?? Do you maybe have a decklist for me? I am playing control warrior right now, but i do have A LOT of problems with paladin.
