I can see Kael'thas Sunstrider getting nerfed from every third spell to every fourth spell. Maybe even every fifth spell. That's a little too harsh though.
I think this is the issue - even nerfing him to four spells would probably, in my opinion, make him unplayable. Not because you can't put together four spells in a turn, but because it's suddenly near impossible to chain more than one free spell. I think five spells is unthinkable, that would make him straight trash (which is not the point of nerfs).
Perhaps, as I've seen some suggest, the "DQA"-solution could work? IE. making every third spell cost 1. Leaves some room to chain his effect, with Innervate and Lightning Bloom.
Well one free spell should be enough to warrant a legendary into your deck. It’s not like Druid have other cards that can win them the game like ysera.

Agreed. Reducing cost to (1) seemed to do a lot of wonders for all the cards that received the same treatment. DQA lost significant power, same as with Rogue’s Galakrond. Even the Wild-format cards seemed to be fixed, namely Sn1p-Sn4p Warlock. Except for the latter, the other cards are still strong, just not unbalanced anymore.
I have a feeling Blizzard is starting to realize discounting cards to (0), particularly in a chain, is unhealthy.
Last week, I rushed with Aggro DH from Silver 9 to Diamond 7 with 2 losses. (9x factor at season begin) But I hate to play aggro and the deck is 0 fun. It is just face face face. So I wait for nerfs, that this deck is not my single option against druids.
aggro rogues are starting to creep up, but its still by far druids for me. I only beat them if i play mindrender at exactly the right turn otherwise its a shitshow.
mages feel worse to lose, that OTK feeling is the worst, you just sit there and watch them spam as many 0 cost spells to rack up spell damage and then blast your face with a 15 damage frostbolt
I think aggro rogues are popping up because not all decks have a reliable way to deal with stealth cards. And right now people arent teching against stealth because paladin and big druid are still extremely prevalent and annoying threats.

Playing meme decks/characters does not entitle you to call a meta bad.
