It's a nerf because an experienced demon hunter would use his 0 mana Twin Slice to trigger Glaivebound Adept, Satyr Overseer or Battlefiend in a mana-efficient way. Blizzard intend for Twin Slice was to emphasize class identity and as such, it is a trash card. It's basically a Heroic Strike, no one puts Heroic Strike in their deck but I wouldn't be suprised if you do. xD
It's ... a lateral move. Lot's of people were super irritated with Alruis and Overseer shenanigans, so it's more a nerf to THOSE cards. But ... 4 damage for 2 mana is pretty darn good.

What are you talking about? Heroic Strike always used in agressive warrior builds since forever and the DH card is better because is more versatile.
The problem was the TKO combo with Kael'thas Sunstrider and Inner Demon where you could do 20dmg for 7 mana, but now that combo is 11 mana so it can't be done in 1 turn. If they want to do that combo now they need to run bad cards like Blur or go to Wild format. The nerf was strictly to disable that TKO.
Who said it was supposed to be? They obviously wanted to limit some interactions (Glaivebound Adept, Altruis, Warglaives, Sartyr) without actually making the card much weaker.

This is correct. I've lost to Arcanite Reaper + Heroic Strike on turn 7 so many times I still get nightmares! :P
Well, this is sort of my point. I feel they made it stronger!
Definitely not. Postponing things like Glaivebound Adept and Satryr Overseer one turn is a huge difference. I've had situations, when it was extremely clunky and turn 4 Overseer gets answered much more easily than turn 3. Sure there are scenarios, where you can pinpoint advantages of current iteration of the card, but this only adds to my point - the card is different, not stronger or necessarily weaker.

After playing many games i really feel Twin Slice got buffed.
Also Cobalt Spellkin anyone? I use him with great succes with Twin Slice at 1 mana.
its about the same... its not as good to combo with the guy that do 1 dmg per outcast card but it do more dmg on its own
Well, also with the weapon you need only one Twin Splice to deal with a 5 HP minion.
I feel it is now stronger overall.
Burst potential goes up, board control goes down.
It is better in any deck other than the tempo one.
The problem is the tempo one was by far the strongest avaiable for DH.
Good change because now DH players have to think about deck list instead brainless pick the strongest build.

I see people abusing twinslice like crazy now, like just using both just to do 4 dmg face lmao..
I don't play standard but in Wild it's undeniably a buff. With the use of it in ODD DH the deck became even better.

Stuff like this really necessary? @FaithBringerr
But to answer your question; no i don't play Heroic Strikes in Warrior.
And is it that bad when Glaivebound Adept one turn later (+ it still can come turn 5 with the coin)?
Who said it was supposed to be? They obviously wanted to limit some interactions (Glaivebound Adept, Altruis, Warglaives, Sartyr) without actually making the card much weaker.
And I think they did a pretty good job.

F...king Pirate Warrior... :(

Yes. Being able to efficiently play Glaivebound Adept 1 turn earlier can secure a victory.
Yes indeed, Heroic Strike can do wonders in bronze.
I truly hate DH.... with all my heart.. made me hate this game.
It is a MASSIVE difference.
Just think of all the cards that have gotten nerfed by +1 mana and gotten from fantastic to useless
