Since people are also complaining about Gala Priest generating 'random' cards: There is a very good reason that Gala Priest was unplayable 2 months ago and is a solid deck now. The Priest minion pool improved significantly after the last rotation and therefore the Priest's invoke power changed from 'generate a probably crappy minion' to 'generate a probably strong minion'. Both are "random" but there is a huge difference. So if a Gala Priest who played 5 invoke cards and 3 hero powers ended up generating something that beats you, it is not pure RNG. It is a natural consequence of using multiple times a source of strong value generation.
Galakrond, the Unspeakable is literally the worst Galakrond but people still need to complain about it because it's a Priest card. Resurrect Priest is almost dead and a different variant of Control Priest with a different win condition just appeared but people just can't stop complaining. I despise all face and hyper aggro decks but i don't complain about them outside of the salt thread because there's people that like them. Let the people who like to play Priest enjoy their decks. If you only like five minute games then go ahead and concede. This saves time for us as well.
No, people don't complain about Galakrond, the Unspeakable just because it's a Priest card. People complain about Galakrond, the Unspeakable because it makes an archetype that has even more random card generation than Galakrond Rogue. I still love Highlander Priest, but Galakrond Priest is complete cancer to me.
Losing to Sire Denathrius makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Sire Denathrius nerf makes me want to play this game again. Losing to Deathrattle Rogue makes me not want to play this game anymore. The Prince Renathal nerf makes me not want to play this game anymore.

This was true for a long time, but it's not true anymore. Priest Galakrond is quite good now because it generates good cards in this expansion. Before the expansion, there were various other ways of going infinite with control (Dr Boom, Hagatha, etc), but most of them are gone now.
Galakrond/Kronx are must includes now in priest decks, even if you don't run any invoke cards. It's just too good vs other control decks to get the Galakrond hero power. It generates Reliquary, Muerte, Kaarjh, Veilweaver, Skeletals, etc. There are no other control classes that can go infinite like that.
For the last 6 months, these threads have been responded to with "get good, Priest decks are, like, tier 3." But Galakrond Priest is now listed as Tier 1 by Tempostorm. It's a good, tough deck. There is always one top control deck, and Priest is it right now.
Anyway, I only auto-concede against quest priest, even though that's not a top tier deck. I just don't like the waiting game in that match up.

Galakrond, the Nightmare generates way more random cards. His minion pool contains five cards and two of them discover cards. That makes them have way more random card generation than Galakrond, the Unspeakable because the outcomes of their invokes are more consistent. They also have secret generation, bounce effects and can apply obscene discounts to their cards. Priest only gets random priest minions and you still have to pay their full cost. Anything generated from the hero power costs 2 more mana than normal (hero power + full cost of the minion). Rogues are much worse to deal with.
Priest and mage nerfs when? People abusing broken busted decks is just unbearable, every single class received a nerf but those two who needed it the most.

Nowhere did I write Rogues weren't more annoying to deal with.

There were people that complained, as there always will be, but the mentality of the community was such that made most of them to experiment on decks in order to find solutions on such problems. This blue deck i am refering to was one of the best (with some alternate builds) for a long period. It didn't own the tables (as it happens with Priest in HS) but had a huge impact and inspired the community to build a lot of different variations of this deck (or based on it) in the future.
I myself do not know about the decks you are talking about in Yugioh and i have no reason to doubt your words, but i say again, this is wrong mentality (unless we are talking about decks that own the meta no matter the playstyle).
Priest is not a Tier 1 deck for various reasons, it just uses a different approach for a win condition. The fact that this approach requires more time for a game to end should be a reason to hate it?
I found a nice read - https://www.channelfireball.com/all-strategy/articles/was-blue-control-as-oppressive-as-we-remember/ - it is genuinely interesting. The main conculsion you can take from this excerpt is that the deck was never really oppressive and actually the other variant of it were better, but it remains in the memory of the players simply because they hated losing to it so badly. Does it sound familiar?
Yes, it's basically the current situation with Rez Priest. Good deck, but not the best. Worse (at least currently) to its other variant (Galakrond), yet people still complain about it, because they hate it so much.
You actually gave a nice example - based on the article, because as I said, I know nothing about Magic.
TBH this article is not refering to the blue deck i as talking about which was present earlier than the days described and it gives mostly a personal opinion from the author's view.
BTW i am not takling about Rez Priest only which i find pretty poor as a deck nowdays and easy to win with many decks. I am mostly talking about Gala Priest which is more solid.
Anyhow, personal opinion i just wanted to share this similarity with that Blue Deck.
PS. The author of this article finds the most balanced Counter spell card in MTG powerful... He should've delve a bit further back in cards and check other counterspell cards :P

Exactly. Same with Renew.
"Oh man, they played Renew and got a board clear!"
The odds of getting a good board clear off of Renew are like 60%. The results from Galakrond (priest) at this point are actually SUPER consistent. There is not a lot variance in the results.
Priest is a terrible class to play against, since all that it does is react to your actions, without having a gameplan of their own. I, too, have started leaving the match as soon as I see that Tyrande.

If you don't like to play against decks that generate a lot of cards, quest malygos is good against both rogue and priest

Believe in potential; the multiverse blesses some beings with extraordinary traits, with the potential to do—to be—great things.
