Hanar is just no fun to play against. If you can't deal 5 dmg to it, it's near impossible to recover, because secrets will keep on coming. Secret tech doesn't work either, because they will get a new christmastree next turn.
I think the meta is no unbalanced, per se, but it's certainly skewed pretty badly. Look at hsreplay data for legend matches, look at the vicioussyndicate report, DH only loses against warrior and has a positive (overwhelmingly so in some cases) wr% against ALL other classes. In fact, I don't even know if eggro warrior would exist if dh wasn't so blatantly op. The last time a class was that dominant on the meta, especially the legend meta, blizzard nerfed it so badly it disappeared entirely (I don't think anyone needs more reminders of galakrond shaman). Yet here we are, after 2 nerfs, and dh still is dominating the ladder. There are various reasons why the class is this good (1 mana hero power, unbelievably good cards with excellent synergy with said hero power, some of the best cards printed in the past few years and an incredibly low variance on "discover" cards, among other things) and it's honestly odd to see blizzard not giving a toss about it. The class is almost as dominating as quest mage is in wild (more so, in a way) and if something as broken as qm was in standard, blizzard would take 3 seconds before nerfing it into oblivion.
And things will only get better from this point forwards because dh will receive more cards than all other classes...if the current cards are any indication of the overall quality of class cards, we can all expect some very boring times to come.
I can't be the only one that thinks that the Ashes cards are just way too op and unbalanced. I mean they nerfed several cards 3 days after the release to start but there are just too many cards that need to be nerfed after the fact. Skeletal Dragon, Priestess of Fury, and Shadowjeweler Hanar in particular are way too over stated for what they do and how low their mana costs are. Each solved with 2 less toughness or 1 to 2 more mana cost.
you just see this b stard, and can do literally nothing, than on next turn you see its brother or Priestess of Fury , 10/6 for 6 mana and dormant for 2 turn? and this value is huge despite it ending dormant effect..

Stop making stupid posts. Any of those cards dont need nerf. So dont whine like a kid.
They do. Anyone with a shred of intelligence would notice the powercreep of Priestress and Shadowjeweler. @Litchofdoom provided constructed information on why he thinks they are too strong, and he's right.
Now let's compare his post to yours. How does that make your post (and you) look like? Exactly. So either provide useful information, be it arguments or counterarguments, or fuck off. We don't want your type here.
>>How about custom games w friends? The ability to alter rules, health pools, HPs.... like a forge or creative mode sorta.
Tournament mode? Custom or ranked online?
How about literally anything more than they have been doing? Especially considering it took them 6 years to add a decent new mode to the game [bgs] and outright admitted it took them 6 months to design....
.... damn Activision.
it sounds interesting but think we won't have it anywhere
Not necessarily. You pay 1 mana extra for 1 extra hitpoint, and you get a guaranteed dragon. Granted, it's a random one, but dragons are overall strong minions with good effects so in my opinion it's not a big trade-off. Most importantly, if you fail to kill Skelly Dragon even for just 1 turn it'll suddenly be way more value than Emerald Explorer.
If you think skeletal dragon is OP wait until I show you the 2 mana 5/4 which does immediate 5 damage upon waking up! That card is obviously overpowered but no one cares since it's not in DH and rogue so whatever.

It's more like a 4 mana 5/4 tho because it wakes up 2 turns after. All dormant cards have powerful effects as trade-off for spending mana for no immediate influence on the game. I'd say it's a fair card, even though I hate him too : p
Dont cry.. Meta is better balanced than ever before. You play against such a lot of different decks at the moment. Blizzard did a really nice job with this expansion.

Hall of Fame? is this a joke? Cause HoF doestn work like that. Im 99% sure this is somekind of joke that im not understanding
Tbh the meta has been sucking since vanilla, and even then the meta sucked :p. Believe me: there have been several worse metas.
Though I agree they have been powercreeping to hell with the Descent of Dragons and the Ashes of Outland expansions.

Skeletal Dragon broken??? Emerald Explorer cost one less and discover a dragon (not add a random dragon). Skeletal Dragon is a bad card. It should cost one less.

Discover a dragon allows you to adapt to the game and you can play in the same turn. At the end of turn is a worse mechanic.
Got me there

Ive seen 1 skeletal dragon in game and it was opening a pack
costing 7 mana youre not really gonna play much else with it and so is only really good if youre already ahead or if the board is empty
but hey i play wild what do i know
-Gematria :3
Nice joke.
