I've been using a control warlock list and found Demon Hunter to be the easiest match to be honest. Ran into a couple of Res priest which ruined me but with plot twist and broodmother, the clears Warlock has, nether breath and sac pact, you can control DH fairly considerably in the early and.mid game and once it gets to the Kate game then SP is insane, takes care of big demons instantly, for free and heals 5. The new taunt which spawns a 5/5 lifesteal and then the prime bringing them back, it generally fairs really well against them. I think I'm 10 and 2 against them so far.
Also, it's really early days, a really high number of people will be playing DH right now and playing against poorly optimised decks so I fully expect that win rate to come down.
Every expansion, without fail, there is this exact thread. 12 or so hours after launch and soke class or card is crazy OP etc etc, it will calm down.
Don't give me that "every expansion there is a OP deck" Gala shaman was by far the most opressive deck and i can remember they were around 60-65%. Not even near 75%.
If you try to defend this deck you are the biggest bitch on hearthstone.
You're so angry you can't even have a reasoned or unbiased discussion. Your little fingers are clacking across your keyboard so fast in your fit of rage that you aren't willing to have a conversation. Ironic you're then there calling other people's bitches....you're literally sat here raging and insulting strangers because they disagree with your opinion about a digital card game. You should be embarrassed.
Classic 'if you don't agree with me you're a fanboy and don't have a clue what you're talking about'. It's an unreasonable way of having a conversation and I'd hope for your sake you're a teenager because if you're an adult then you have a lot of growing up to do.
There are other factors that will be contributing towards that win rate at this point but you're clearly incapable of having that discussion or listening so I'm not going to engage with you.
Its day 2. It takes tine to find a good counter, and of course a new class will make a lot of players play that class.
DH obviosuly is strong, but who kones in a couple of weeks. I bet they will nerf a couple of the DH cards in the next few weeks, and then all will be good.
It already feels like warlock is a really good counter to it tbh.
Put down your little demon that pew pew a 10 random damage? Sound, I'll pop Zeraku down and then sac pact him. Cheers for the board and most likely more healing than you even damaged for. The amount of healing and lifesteal available for warlock helps stay out of their reach and with the ability to generate more spells you can dark skies, sac pact and plot twist out of all sorts.
It will most likely be less effective than it is now but for the time being it counters it quite nicely.

Also Priest is a good idea, as you might beat him thanks to copying some of their cards (they are almost all OP, so doesn't not matter too much with) and to the ton of healing.
All the fun out of day 1 is gone. It was the best time to mess around with janky decks and have fun. Its just a complete mess and its shocking how they allowed this to go live in this state. Hand of Guldan is the problem and that Priestess card. BUSTED.
I agree the first days are ruined but he will get nerfed soon.
First days were already ruined when Blizzard decided to allow a meta to form BEFORE each expansion releases by allowing "influencers" access. There's much less initial exploration any more as over half the people are already netdecking.
Very well said. I have been saying it for a while. DH can do literally everything without limitation. Face, Lifesteal, MINIONS THAT DO 10 DMG. OH and BTW whoever thought that silence shouldn't work on dormant minions is an idiot.. It defeats the purpose of silence!!!!

Pretty sure the meta was formed when all the cards have been revealed. Some decks are just auto-built.
Silence not affecting dormant minions needs to be adressed, now that there are so many dormant minions with big effects. And why haven't they learned that scaling 1-drops is a bad idea? Any class but DH feels so weak, I'm pretty much either going to join the dark side or go play something else until it gets adressed. Most likely the latter.
1: Blizzard is planning a nerf scheduled for today
2: its better that the class be overpowered than underpowered. its easy to dial back on a power level than to make something stronger without breaking it
Also they wanted everyone to play the class, better to give it a big splash than to have it barely make an impact.
And imma say this again. THEY ARE ALREADY NERFING THE CLASS. Give it a bit of time before you insult an entire team of Devs SMH
My whole argument is, these excuse for developers can't even get NINE heroes balanced properly, so WTF made them think another hero would fix this upside-down game?!
Delete Shaman, Priest, and Warlock first, then re-visit this "additional hero" nonsense on another year.
Just tested The Amazing Reno, and not even he can touch the dormant minions. Doesn't seem to fit the hero effect at all. I want it to go *POOF!* damnit!

Why so angry ? It is kinda obvious people would play the new class the most come on!
If you are tired of the game take a break and come back after the nerfs
Title of this post made me LOL.
Thanks OP. :)

Whine more
no delete priest plz :(
The nerf announce is ridiculous yes. It means that they are not testing.

I had a pretty good 60% WR against demon hunter with priest using the new legendaries. Also had to use a lot of aoe
Could not agree more, Blizzard team is stupid
