Why would you nerf a tech card that does exactly what it's supposed to do? It's not like it makes the mage spells completely dead, their effects are just weaker until the Albatross (albatrosses, albatri??) are drawn.
I could actually see them nerfing it to 1 albatross, depending on how hard they want to push the archetype, sadly.
What??! Now that i think about it, the Albatross also counter all Highlander decks out there too, so i think it shoudl be nerfed!!! But wait, what is the purpose of Bad Luck Albatross as a tech card in this game then?!? hmmm.. i think im onto something here...
How's he gonna play a neutral minion from a no-minion deck that discovers only mage minions?
I agree it's worse than what hits highlander, they need to draw just one. Nerf? I think they'd do a nerf first to DH and co. first, and that Albatross isn't going to be a concern soon
i like the idea of having albatross not affect no-minion decks, say what you want about it doing its job, but 1. its a much more severe counter than it is to highlander (who only have to draw 1/2) and 2. this deck is gonna need all the help it can get if we're gonna have options other than demon hunter, hunter and rogue for the next few months
Of course it won't be nerfed. This game needs more ways to counter and interact with your opponents cards not removing the few meaningful ways there is!
I have considered that when I was thinking of No Minion Mage but I do know I will be playing my 2 allowed copies of Polymorph in my build once this expansion releases which will help deal with that Albatross.
I doubt the deck got enough to make it work in Standard but, if not, I am sure there is enough for me to play around with in Wild.

Mage is using the Freeze cards as a stall engine. No Minion Mage currently has only 2 Draw cards at most I think.

Just saying, Albatross techs against:
All highlander decks
Spell mage
Pure paladin
Big druid
And even if you play none of the above, it shuffles 2 dead draws into your deck. This card is an ultimate tech card.
Can someone think of more archetypes that get shut down by albatross?
