Trying to find a deck you like or an archetype you enjoy helps a lot. I know that sounds obvious but maybe the decks you've been using aren't really want you enjoy playing and so even of they're good decks, your results aren't too great?
I much prefer control decks to aggro, even mid range so when I tried to spam face hunter for a quick climb I did very poorly. Despite the fact it was a good deck and people have got to legend with it I just didn't do well. Maybe it's because I only half considered my choices because I expected to just get wins or my not enjoying the deck meant that I didn't put enough effort in.
Narrowing down the type of deck you want to play and then possibly the class you want to play might help you narrow down what deck to then look at. I don't think it's purely ability (though that will help, I think really too players are more likely to be able to navigate through 4anks with a higher number of decks because they have much deeper understanding of the deck they are using and what they're up against, meaning they make better choices as a result) I couldnt get to rank 10 with face hunter but went to 3 with Res priest and HL hunter. For some reason my results are really bad with any form of rogue deck even of it is a high performing deck. Like I said, I think it's because I don't really like the class or 'feel' of it and maybe don't put enough focus in as a result. When I'm struggling I tend to find a decent warrior control decks if there is one, it's the class and type in happiest playing with and even if the deck isn't as good as others, my personal results are generally better.
rank 10 should be easy and almost any deck should be able to get there, if you cant get rank 10 you should take a closer look at your games with hsreplay after each game and look what you did wrong and learn from that. after a while you know how to play that deck and just autoplay it without thinking to rank 5 or legend
dont worry i also never try to rush legend again because nothing special on it i asking blizzard to make legend rewards and they answer by the word soon why not
A while ago I read about a guy claiming to achieve legend in wild in about 8 hours game time, starting off with level 20. He wrote he used a budget Token Druid, which code is the following:
From time to time I use the deck for fun in wild. I usually go from rank 20 to 7 in one rush. With rank 7 I am stuck with all those 3 dmg AoE-Secret mages. So here you have it, an easy to use deck to get rank 10 or better with minimum match duration :)
Here, man. Swap out the Freezing Trap and the Snake Trap with two Explosive Traps. Replace one of the Trackings with another Stormhammer. If you don't have Leeroy or Dragonsbane, replace them both with Lifedrinkers,
Then, stick with the deck, even when you run in to its' hard counters (cough cough priest cough). This deck with those tweaks took me from rank 5 to 2 in February.
Sounds like you have the same problem as me, you dont have the patience to pursue the one deck long enough to get good at it. Instead of playing 5 games then switching decks we need to be patient. We lose 2 or 3 games then decide to try a new deck.
The only time I have been over rank 10 was when I just played the one deck non stop for a week. It's boring but I would suggest that.
Go with wild mech paladin. No matter how bad you suck at the game you should be able to reach rank 10 with it. It is by far the easiest and most consistent budget wild decks out there. I'd be stunned if you wouldn't be able to reach rank 10 with it.
Darling, I am neither inexperienced nor unskilled, so, your long treatise about me being bad is useless. Next time, read the disclaimer. Damn, I hate those guys: I am so much more skilled than you are and I have to tell you so I feel good about myself.
Read the disclaimer first, it is there for you.

Lol. what a big ego.
I have a suspicion that you are not actually bad but plays a very unoptimized deck full of basic cards. Post your list here and we'll see what we can do.
Who gives a flying f%#k? It’s HS... a land where skill is irrelevant and RNGesus reigns supreme. Nothing more to think about in all honesty. Just embrace it or bail out. I play almost never but enjoy watch the rng antics on Twitch.
A lot of this is gitgud, but I'll say it constructively:
The game is made to match you against equal skill. Your win lose win lose runs are the game pitting you against someone marginally better, and seeing if you should be higher than them. It's that one missed opportunity, or that one inefficient trade that the game looks at and says, "nope, not good enough". I hit a wall at R2 & I roped every turn to make ABSOLUTELY sure I was making the best play, and then won 7 straight to those card backs.

You are not entirely true... You can get rank 10 with most of decks, but believe me, there are decks, where you just can't (Like the ones which are on pair with decks of rank 21+.) But for most of people yes... But again. If you don't have collection it can be pretty time consuming.
What i know from my playing is... rank 16-20 are players without complete deck and skill as well. 12-16 are people mostly without time, and incoplete deck or bad skills, but complete deck. 8-12 are people with time, but incomplete deck or bad skills, but complete deck. 4-8 both complete deck and good skill. legend 300-rank 4 are people which know how to pilot their main deck in different situation, but don't really know why, just played so much that deck and know what is best play without really understand why. legend 1-300 people which not only know their deck, but hearthstone as well and can really easily swap to any other deck after only few try, becose they have deep understanding of HS.
(Maybe i am little bit off legend 1-300 and it can be even 1-600, but over this number i would not believe in their true understanding of game.)
I'm sorry but I cannot disagree more. I believe for most people who are in the legend ranks it's just a matter of the more time you spend, the higher legend you will end. Because if you get to legend, you know exactly what you are doing.

guys, please.... stop feeding the troll,
cause it's either that, or he indeed really is just bad, and no matter what you say or do he's always gonna stay at rank 15 :(
Dragon hunter, bud. It only has two legendaries, Leeroy and Dragonsbane, and either of those can be swapped out if you are on a budget.

Just stick to 1 Deck for longer than 10games...
deck swapping makes u Tilt again and again...
stick to 1 deck to learn ALL ins and outs of that deck..u can`t learn or get used to that in 6-7games...
after that u will rise the ranks slowly but steady!
PS. ignore deck ideas. Just play 1 u LIKE....
Thing u like are easier to learn!

I tried dragon hunter and liked it. Will stick to it now. Thanks to all your support.

Leave him alone, he is sad and broken and needs love and attention. Both, we have given him. His world is brighter now and so should be ours.
PS: I was about to use the sports analogy too, but do not try to use sense in a senseless world of echo-chambers and Semi-Arguments

Rusty Recycler
Ironic. It could recycle others, but not itself.

Alternatively, go with even shaman. It is also extremely easy to play.
