The revival of Facehunter ist actually my reason to only do my quests every 3 days, and otherwise not log into HS at all.
Non-preventable facedamage is the worst thing for me, it is absolutely non-interactive and so frustrating. Game just comes down to "do i draw zilliax? Good, i win" "do i draw zilliax, nope, i lose".
Also approximately 95% Huffer from animal companion, jeez i hate that pig.
If you supposedly face so many Face Hunters, JUST add in some Heal, 90% of players complaining about Face Hunter must be Roques - BUT their stupid Galakrond into 0 Mana Heistbarons or 0 Mana Dragonqueen OR 0 Mana Kronx is perfectly OK. xD
I actually mostly play Highlander Hunter currently, because Hunter is one of the 2 classes I dont have golden yet. And teching in Heal there isn't that simple. What am I supposed to play?
Farseer? 3 healing and a terrible Tempo loss. No thanks.
Lifedrinker? Same problem.
Alextrasza? Way too late at 9 Mans
Scalehide? Not worth without Dire Frenzy and Master's call.
Also lifesteal/rush even requires the facehunter to play minions, which they often dont even do after turn 3.
Embiggen druid with ramp and good RNG from the sidequest. Just so toxic RNG highroll deck to play against, which reminds me of the old Prince Keleseth tempo rogue with turn 2 Prince Keleseth +2x Shadowstep.Res priest is just boring to play against.
Rogue is fine, the deck sure has lot highroll potential, but the class has a clear weakness, Face hunter is easy to counter and not a problem.
It's amazing how much hate there is for Anduin despite Priest being so uncompetitive. People seem to despise res effects and control style play. I get that it can feel frustrating to play against but it seems disproportionate for how weak the class is.
Personally, I cannot stand watching my rogue opponent play miracle style drawing a ton of 0 mana cards and roping each turn trying to fit in all their plays. Fun for them, dull and bizarrely non interactive for me. The deck is good and i can see why so many people play it, but I find it distinctly boring to play against.
There are a lot of salty aggro players in this poll, lol. People are playing Res Priest because it statically has the best chance of beating the plethora of aggro decks according to HS Replay.

Sure, it can stink to lose to Hunter before turn 6, but at least it’s over quick. Priest games take forever, and the constant resurrections make each turn feel like Groundhog Day. Rogue is annoying because you sit there while they drop 20 lackeys every turn while you watch the rope burn.
Res Priest can easily be beaten by any control deck that can out-value it and/or tamper with the res pool. It does make for long games but so does any control vs. control match-up so it's obvious those who are disgruntled are more than likely aggro players who prefer fast games. Which means people are complaining about being directly countered by the deck that is designed specifically to beat them, lol.

That's a pretty big presumption. Also res priest is the only truly viable control deck in standard rn (at least if you're going by wr), so it's not exactly practical to play any other control deck if you're trying to gain rank. You'll note as well that no one in the thread is complaining about highlander mage, which is also control (albeit with a much lower average wr). With that said I play gala rogue quite a bit (which is midrange) and I still detest res priest. The fact that res priest is control is not the issue that I have with it. The issue I take with res priest is that it punishes you for doing anything, and the win condition is just so boring and easy to fulfill. Once the quest is completed priest just plays high cost minions one at a time or mass resses and you lose. It's like the control version of face hunter: it just heals instead of doing face damage. This makes res priest annoying and boring to play against regardless of whether you're aggro, midrange, or control.

You highlight one of the key issues with the game here, which is people being too obsessed with WR and tier lists instead of playing the decks and classes they want to play. MTG Arena atm is polluted with OP aggro deck and the second meta deck is opressive control deck, but still fair amount of games are played against people with their own brews or stuff they enjoy that aren't the 2-3 archetypes that dominate the meta and the top tier decks can still be beaten with off meta decks with a bit of luck. HS is simple game and the difference between top tier and viable decks can already be massive, due to the mechanical restrictions of the game.
I see a lot of people crying about face hunter, yes the deck has a simple game plan and yes it can be annoying to lose at turn 5, but it's not like you are gonna win all your games anyway so at least the loss is fast and the deck has clear weaknessess if you want to target it spesifically.
Unpopular opinion: Quest Resurrect Priest is the Control Warrior when it was at its top in Rise of Shadows meta and beginning of Saviours of Uldum until the Boom nerf.
Rez priest, without a doubt. One of the reasons why I abandoned standard is that from rank 25-15 in wild there are very few priest decks (and generally a lot more whacky non-meta decks), while standard is chock full of them and they're by far the least fun decks to play against. Long, boring, obnoxiously irritating games. I don't get people saying "oh but priest class is weak" like, how's that relevant? If a single archetype is borderline rank 1 and an insta concede against plenty of decks, should I care if "it's only one archetype"? I don't think so.

My advise to all those who suffer at hands of druids and priests: play secret mage. Nuff said. And I’m not talking about wild.
So people love Hunterstone. No wonder best streamers left. This is no longer game for creative people.
What are you even talking about?

There is only my justice now

Priest always has the most obnoxious win con every time its meta
Priest, especially Rez. Not hard, just tedious and annoying af.
Current bad state of the game.
