They really don't have unlimited gas. Well timed Mass Hysteria's and Plagues of Death, as well as Priest's Galakrond, help deal with big boards. Mass Dispel and Shrink Ray are great answers to untargetable minions. Dragonmaw Poacher lines up very well against Emerald Explorer and Doomsayers with Blizzards/Frost Novas are always an option.
When control fails, aggro decks are favourable. Mech Paladin and Face Hunter have the chance to end the game before Druid's heavy hitters come into play. Keep in mind also that the only healing they typically run is Ferocious Howl, meaning direct damage is key. They rely on hiding behind massive taunt walls, similar to Hadronox Taunt Druid.
Just keep in mind that they will often run over Midrange or Combo decks and that Embiggen on turn 1 isn't a 100% loss. They still need the buffed minions in play to do anything.
You must have a dragon and breath in starting hand, the power of the deck drop to half when they don't play breath in turn 2, Embiggen is a risky card vs aggro and they suffer if the board is clear more than two times.
Control can win if draw the right cards and aggro can win if is fast enough, it is just fair the deck be strong vs tempo and midrange.
PS: An early Edwin 8/8 or 10/10 is an easy win too.
Highlander mage is such a free win for Embiggen Druid, it's not even close, you have so many non targeteable dragons and playing a big boy each turn with the mana cheat that the quest offers is too much pressure for mage to do anything.
They have unlimited gas and everything is untargetble. Breath of dreams is just to strong.
unlimited gas ?
*laughs in Highlander Mage*

Too many conditions.

Lol trash
My healadin otk deck wins 95% on the time against this deck. My big problem is rogue.
Embiggen Druid really isn't that strong, but it's a very easy deck to use. Even lower rank players are able to play it decently.
I found my remedy at last, and now my guiding star is shining; and when my present becomes my past, I realise, that every cloud has a silver lining!
According to official Blizzard stats, it's amazingly average.
Its doing poor in Meta now because prevalent decks such as Dragon Hunter, Res Priest and Mech Paly are hard countering it.
