The only thing really wrong and unbalanced is the warrior legendary weapon because remove the weakness of aggro decks, never run out of steam even if you survive the early agression.
Anything else is ok.
Well with the state of the game now is there any deck run out of stream ? Lol
When the expansion was announced, I was sooooooooo hyped. I love dragons, and seeing that every class was getting at least some of them, I imagined dragon decks being pretty much everywhere. Hoping to crush people with a 12/12 Deathwing or summon massive boards with Dragonqueen Alexstrasza, I waited for the expansion to finally launch.
My worries started after the final stream. I saw these obnoxiously powerful Pirate Warrior cards, Faceless Corruptor, the Shaman Galakrond... Dragons don't like aggro decks because they can't be played when you're dead by T7, I thought. Although my final conclusion was that there would be like Pirate Warrior and aggressive Galakrond Shaman builds and that was perfectly fine.
And I was so wrong. There are no dragon decks in the meta. Not really a single dragon deck. In Descent of Dragons.
But the top meta list is: Face Hunter (typical uninteractive aggro, it doesn't even play minions really), Galakrond Shaman (I'm not gonna talk about this one), Pirate Warrior (hard aggro), Highlander Hunter (wow, a more midrange-y build that sometimes even runs Dragons! But as a highlander deck, it is very expensive and you don't really face it that much), Zoo Warlock (aggro), Token Druid (aggressive midrange), Deathrattle Rogue (dying to multiple 10/10s with Charge on T6 is soooooo fun), Overload Shaman (aggro).
Where are my Dragons? :(((
^ This 100%. Hopefully this will change with the new adventure cards.
1. Pure Paladin is not a good deck, and you can’t counter every Aggro deck with healing. You counter Face Hunter and Pirate Warrior, but get rekt by Zoolock or Galakrond Shaman. Paladin lacks good AoE.
2. I can play any deck but controllish midrange or control is my favorite playstyle, and I don’t want to not have fun from the game due to all that aggro stomping my control decks.

Galakrond Shaman is NOT an Aggro deck. If Aggro is stomping your Control decks, you have a serious L2P issue.
You may be a "card design champion", but your knowledge of the game of Hearthstone is severely limited.
The only deck that seems to viable right now against all the aggro is the deathrattle healing priest. I can understand your frustration OP. Seeing these Deathrattle Hunters & Pirate Warriors really just... IDK
I quit 2 expansions ago because of the same thing over and over again. I came back to play dragon decks because you know... Dragons are pretty awesome, but now I am like "ah shit, here we go again."
I think this is a common problem with most expansions that contain great control tools. If the control that comes out of the expansion isn't extremely good (Uldum control Warrior was exceptional until we realized highlander hunter had the gas to beat it up), it quickly gets run over by the more popular, cheaper, and faster deck builds.
Aggro appeals to players for a number of reasons, so Blizzard isn't going to spend any expansion trying to upend that dynamic.
That being said, I was a bit disappointed that - as an aggro player - control was largely shoved aside before it could present a real challenge. Along with control went dragons, since there aren't many if any fast decks that center around dragon value. I'm not sure they really can, either. At first, I was glad, since aggro also discourages OTK decks (something a number of players thought would come from druid and continue on in paladin, which it has in a small way), but since the aggro was also better than control, the only counter was other aggro.
Shaman is the worst offender, but rogues that pull and play Apothecary by turn 3-5, face hunters, and pirate warriors all contribute to the savage beatdown meta that we're in. Shaman can generate wide boards and outrageous value (that Galakrond is way too powerful with double 8/8's with rush, especially alongside Shudderwock), so they easily set up hyper value that punches your board down and builds toward at least two huge swings that few decks recover from if they aren't poised for lethal already.
I think the set has some incredibly fun and interactive cards that have been ignored out of necessity; how can we enjoy true midrange or control partaking in the meta when shaman, hunter, and rogue are largely determining what matters on ladder? Now we're facing a resurgence in another non-interactive deck: rez priest. Yes, thanks to the face hunter surge, priest now has a home on ladder beating the stuffing out of hunters by simply surviving until turn 5, then their walls go up and they can casually heal. They don't even need to attack anymore outside of covering the board to eliminate necessitated trades.
We'll see what the solo adventure brings to the table, because in spite of how much I'm personally enjoying success with quest hunter, I miss the days of control that could run out of options and aggro that could overplay their hand and run dry if misplayed. Walling up or blowing out double value on my minions aren't my idea of a particularly fun meta, but that's just my opinion.

Let's hope in January they release some new cards (35 from the adventure?) and another nerf to make some mid-range Dragon decks more competitive.
It really is an aggro storm out there... and why not? If you play against DR Rogue you have about 5-6 turns to win or else you're dead. And same with Galakrond Shaman - if they hit curve you're normally finished.

Galakrond Shaman and Galakrond Zoolock are both midrange decks. You should not expect to beat them with control.
It's easy to be fooled when a midrange deck has a strong early game, but you have to look at the whole picture.

Try Kiblers Dragon Druid. Sick AF and damn strong

Hopefully the adventure gives out some tools to deal with aggro. Sometimes it feels auto lose to play against it.

Aggro killed my puppy!
There is a healing-focused Pure Paladin deck that destroys all aggro, not to mention a lot of other control decks that have Dragons in them.
OP is terribly misinformed -- or just doesn't know how to play anything but midrange.

i just don‘t know why blizzard would print a 4 mana 8/8 rush minions to counter dragons in an expansion that’s about dragons.
it‘s like blizzard was like „lets give them dragons, but don‘t let them play dragons [evil laugh]“
true.

Just because they hit you in the face and then you die doesn't mean they're an aggro deck.
uhmm thats the definitiion of aggro my friend xd
Galakrond is a Dragon last I checked.
No it isn't. If you believe it is, I'm not surprised you are having trouble sorting all this out.
Lore-wise, yes. But for all intents and purposes in Hearthstone, no. Hero cards do not belong to tribes.
