- Mogu Fleshshaper to only cost down from enemy minions, not ALL minions. that, or a big bump to 9 mana.
- Faceless Corruptor to either 6 mana or only 4 attack, it sees play in galakrond shamans, aggro warrior and variations of rogue, the 3 most played classes so far.
- And if they really want to hit shaman hard I'm guessing Corrupt Elementalist to 6 mana. and maybe even Corrupt the Waters to 8 battlecries until completion.
I'm more hoping that the balance changes are also including some buffs to the absolute trash that priest ended up being. galakrond's hero power would be better if it at least discovered, instead of being random. All the invoke cards for priest are not passive effects, so its perfectly feasable. And instead of minions, discover spells, or a mix of both. Priest has all the spells to be a control deck, but there's never any space left for them. Plz blizz just give mah boi priest some love.
Never happend such fast nerf coming. They knew it about the power of shaman and they were ready for nerf in case. They should change the invoke effect, 1-1 rush? It was the year of the dragon yes, but also of the beeee. So 11 bee rush? Faceless Corruptor need a nerf, like Saronite Chain Gang or should cost 7. Corrupt Elementalist need a nerf, should cost 6-7, or even smaller body. Dragon's Pack need a nerf, overload (2) at least, the interaction with Electra Stormsurge and Archmage Vargoth make the card even stronger. All the evolve cards should cost so much more, their value is so strong, we saw it the meta before the last expansion. Good nerf to everybody :)
Mogu could be 4 mana "costs 1 less for each enemy minion". This allows opponent to actually play around it, and the evolve result would be a 5 mana minion. Right now shaman can cheat out 8 mana minions on turn 4 or turn 5 for free, which is unfair and broken.
Dragon's Pack is simply broken. None of the other classes' "invoked twice" effect has this power level. It could be "+2/+2".
My predictions is it'll be a few tweaks across the board. Not enough to kill the deck, but enough to give other decks breathing room.
Elementalist will probably be made 6 mana.
Dragons pack will probably get hit in stats. Maybe 5/5s?
Shudderwock will be made 10 mana.
Galakrond might see a hit, though I'm uncertain what change will be made there.
Corruptor will probably see the biggest hit, as he's not only insane in this deck, but any deck that can run lackies, or smaller cards. I'm going to guess it'll be something like a 6 mana 5/3. Enough of a change that it's still good, but not so outstanding that it'll be run in practically everything.
Corrupt the waters might also get hit, though I'm uncertain on this one. If it did, probably bumping up to 7 battlecries would be about right with other nerfs. Again, giving decks some more breathing room.
Invocation of frost isn't a problem card at all. I honestly think it's pretty weak, and a lot of lists are cutting it.
Morgu is a similar story to invocation imo. It's definitely a good card, but it just isn't that impactful compared to the other big hitters. Why would it get hit when corruptor is just a much better version of it?
i really hope there nerf the paladin 25 mana 25 dmg thing its stupid to play vs...
Not only is Holy Wrath-paladin nowhere near nerfable power, it's one of few decks that can check actual abominations like Galakrond shaman. So, eh, how about no...?

I think the Shaman 2/1s from invoke make Mogu problematic. It certainly wasn't before, I agree. But now you can more or less guarantee it being playable at t3/4/5. On top of the Galakrond shenanigans. And when you slam it down, it is both guaranteed removal at that point in the game, as well as often a random, undamaged 8-mana minion left over. So I think the DoD-package for shaman may have ruined Mogu, also.
Just remember that Blizzard wants to nerf the fewest cards as possible and REALLY doesn't want to nerf any legendaries because they want to keep the potential dust refund as low as possible.
I wouldn't mind seeing the cost of ALL the Invoke cards be increased by 1, even the neutral ones. Faceless Corruptor needs to be nerfed to oblivion, that's actually the most broken card of the expansion.
I would love to see the Shaman Quest hero power changed to ‘your next battlecry this turn triggers twice’ instead of all battlecries.
Faceless Corruptor to 7 mana or just hammer the stats down to 3/2 ala Corridor Creeper.
Galakrond invoke for Shaman is an issue as well, maybe remove the rush from the 2/1’s? Not sure. Def remove rush from the things summoned when playing Galakrond...
Corrupt the Waters for sure being hit somehow. Faceless Corruptor might see a nerf (unlike Fungalmancer from days of old) I'd like to see Fleshshaper nerfed to a 3/3 so it survives trades less often and Mutate is only a random 8-drop. No 3 free damage.
1. Corrupt the waters: Double only your first battlecry of the turn 2. Faceless corruptor: changed to 7 mana 3. Mutate cost change to 1 mana 4. Zephrys changed to If you deck STARTED with duplicates, wish for the perfect card. 5. Maybe some OTK paladins nerfs too, something about Time out not sure what
I see a lot of people detest Corrupt the Waters. I myself find it a bit irritating, but... according to stats, prior to the wild event, the deck was barely tier 2. A lot of players are playing it not because it's good, but because they think it's good. They think it's cool and "my lackey is better, because he shoots twice...". Ok. But the thing is that every decent Hunter, Rogue, Druid, Paladin, Warrior player... would farm that deck.
Even now, when you can merge the quest with new broken Shaman stuff, Shaman is still better without running it. 4 X elementals, just _feels_ terrible (which is more memorable and traumatic), but normal Shamans are more focused, practical and devastating.
I wouldn't mind nerfing the quest, because I don't care... but I just wanted to indicate how some anti-quest arguments come from false assumptions.
The core current problem of Shaman is swingy Mogu Fleshshaper, alone, with rush and with evolve. This card carries most of Shaman plays. It wouldn't be good to change discount being related to enemy minions, because you shouldn't be able to punish opponent's good board with you not having the board. A much better solution would be making discount come from your board. Very probably, they will just increase the mana cost to 9. Mogu will be nerfed 100%, as they said that a month ago.
Of course, other cards to consider are Shaman's better Invoke cards, a bunch of rush minions, Galakrond...
We'll see. My guess is they're going to completely nuke the class to satisfy players and be sure of no leftovers.
I would also like to see this leaked list.. Can't seem to find it
My guess would be:

Why u hav to be mad? is only card gaem.
Mutate nerfed to 1 mana
Mogu will be nerfed like that purple worm card that reduced its mana everytime a minion died
Faceless corruptor will probably be reduced to 2x 4/3
No more cards that invoke twice like that 5 mana shaman card, that card will be nerfed to invoke once
I'll be back on nerf day to check my predictions. See ya then!
That's because it doesn't exist.
Shaman Galakrond 10 mana so u can't double battlecry&gala for 4x 8/8 rush even with a coin, ez fix.
Never happend such fast nerf coming. They knew it about the power of shaman and they were ready for nerf in case.

fuck this paladin clear you boead 400 rounds then do 50 dmg over 2 turns
Here are my thoughts.

Oh and I'd love to see some buffs too, especially to Hack the System, Raid the Sky Temple and to absolute GARBAGE dumpster tier priest cards like Lazul's Scheme, Surrender to Madness, Zerek, Master Cloner

Missing lethal since June 2015.
I hope faceless corrupt or because I opened 2 Golden copies of it hahaha

This space is intentionally blank.
