Given the recent news about something "being done to address shaman," which cards do you believe are going to be the ones which they specifically nerf? I feel like its a toss up but who is to say
I think by far the biggest contender is Corrupt the Waters, it's just way too easy to complete and the reward is far too potent.
Galakrond, the Tempest both his invoke power and his battlecry is levels above all the other Galakrond cards.
And finally, I don't think Mogu Fleshshaper is the root of the problem, it's Mutate. Remember how Tinkmaster Overspark's ability was targeted? Yeah, Mogu is the same. Make Mutate a random minion changer (every minion, not just friendly!) and call it a day.
I doubt they'll touch Galakrond, at least not yet anyway.
Dragon's Pack is just fine for a "strong DoD card" just like a lot of other strong DoD cards.
Corrupt Elementalist mayyyy get a slight cost nerf, but again, not one of the most problematic cards so I doubt it.
Mogu and Invocation of Frost are both fine as they are.
Corrupt the Waters I see being their biggest target. I'd say that's gonna go up to probably 8 or 9 Battlecries.
Bad take. Shudderwock might be fine, if only because it rotates to wild in a few months. Dragon's Pack is blatantly overpowered, with Shaman so consistently able to proc Galakrond. Corrupt Elementalist is the best Galakrond activator by far, and they've gone and put it into the best Galakrond class (again, by far). The Shaman Galakrond version with Corrupt the Waters is weaker, I think, so I don't understand why that would be their scapegoat?
I agree that Mogu and Invocation of Frost are fine, though.
galakrond sham: summon 2 2/2-4/4-6/6 with rush. Mogu: 7 3/4 rush cost 1 less for every enemy's minino Quest shaman: play 7 minions with battlecry Faceless corruptor: 5 5/4 rush, battlecry trasform a random friendly minion into a copy of this card
i thing with this nerf shaman will still be number 1 but it will be worse
and i hope there nerf epic and rare and common since that will give the most dust where legendary will just give 1600 so i will have to craft it again to get all cards
It’s not a scapegoat. Corrupt the waters is literally broken regardless of what it does to the win rate of a specific deck. The reward is given way to early for such a powerful effect. It’s it’s just that shaman now ALSO has other broken shit too.
i‘d say leave Shudderwock and the quest as it is. it wasn‘t all that oppressive and it had weaknesses.
they have to nerf all the shaman galakrond cards into the ground like they did Warsong Commander.
make Mogu Fleshshaper a 4 mana 4/4 with rush. no mana reduction. Mogu Mutate was the only thing that made Quest Shaman unfair and unless they‘re able to make a zero mana card from hand a zero mana card in play, they have to destroy Mogu.
That's a really weird list you've made, apart from the obvious Shaman cards.
Anyway, the list has already been leaked. I don't know if I fully believe it, but it seems pretty reasonable and in keeping with the way Blizz normally nerfs.

For everyone talking about the shaman quest... the quest is actually not the problem. The non-quest version of galakrond shaman has a much higher winrate than the quest version right now, a quest nerf is probably unwaranted and wouldn't really curb the current shaman dominance, the galakrond package absolutely has to get changed somehow.
My guess is:
Mogu to 8/9 mana
Faceless Corrupter to 6 mana
Galakrond hero power summons a 1/1 rush OR Dragon's pack and Corrupt Elementalist to 6 mana (I would rather see the galakrond hero power changed, as the the fundamental issue with the deck is that the invoke cards are all efficient removal and then also get you to your big payoffs in galakrond himself and dragon's pack, but I'm not sure if they will be willing to go that direction)
corruptor is 5/3 , dragon pack summons 2* 5/5 or 4* 2/3 taunt - dragon pack cant be removed by corruptor as of now. quest to 8 minions.
jade golems cap at 8/8. leeching poison reverted to 2 mana give your weapon lifesteal. coldlight oracle still draws 2 cards but will not cause overdraw.
Even do Faceless Corruptor is a rareneutralminion card, its value, and power of switching the game in your favor are insane. I would love to see this card get a little more expensive. Faceless Corruptor to 6 mana!
Galakrond, the Tempest invoke power and his battlecry is also way to strong compared to the others, this needs addressing.

Catch ya on the flippity flop
This is my prevision:
Nerf:
Mogu: 7 3/4 rush cost 1 less for every enemy's mininons on battlefield OR just increase the cost to 8
Quest shaman: play 7 minions with battlecry
Faceless corruptor: 5 5/4 rush, battlecry trasform a random friendly minion into a copy of this card OR just increased cost to 6
My noob prediction:
Faceless Corruptor: From 5cost 5/4 to either same cost 5/2 or 5/1.
Quest Shaman: Either 8 or 7 minions.
or
Galakrond Tempest: Same stats but no rush.
As long as they leave my dear shudderwock alone(I play wild where he’s cool), I don’t care what they do.
just make a good nerf that actually balances the class. No half ass solutions please

Iam actually surprised no one mentioned interaction between Faceless Corruptor and Shudderwock when you played Barista Lynchen in earlier turns. Its not as great as with Grumble, Worldshaker but if you are lucky with battlecry order you can go Shudderwock everyturn.. Faceless Corruptor needs similar nerf as Saronite Chain Gang. 3/2 or 4/2 summon another one it would still be good i think.

This and the Wolf package are the worst problems indeed and should get nerfed.
man i think it will be easiest for them to nerf the new dragon hero card as their is no dust involved
and probably mogu and corrupt elemental
and i cant imagine faceless wont catch a nerf
corruptor is 5/3 , dragon pack summons 2* 5/5 or 4* 2/3 taunt - dragon pack cant be removed by corruptor as of now. quest to 8 minions.

Where did you see the leaked list?
Even do Faceless Corruptor is a rare neutral minion card, its value, and power of switching the game in your favor are insane.
