A bit of a stupid title i admit but it reflect my current view of ranked. Last 2 months i've set a goal for my self to reach rank 5 for the first time and get that golden epic. But after rank 10 i hit a brick wall.
First started with N'zoth rogue, managed to climb to rank 6 over 2 weeks but then switched to Quest Shaman because i started to get matched to much vs aggro decks and i couldn't get to turn 10. From witch i've dropped to rank 10 again, i can never win a game with Quest Shaman. And after i continued to try and climb, but it's been mostly win 1 lose 1 over and over.
Not to mention the weird match making, every time i go midrange i seem to play vs high end control usually with N'zoth and when i play control i get a lot of aggro decks.
So overall i'm pretty sad about my situation, so i'd like to know if there is a deck that's possible to get me to rank 5 before the end of month.
Decks don't get to rank 5. The player behind the deck does. If you can't get past level 10 then the problem is you not the deck. Practice and learn to play better. Watch streams. Nothing is going to help you other than you.
Find the best deck from the class you like the most between the ones listed as tier 1 and don’t sway from there. If a decks win rate is 58% then unless you just can’t figure the deck out statistically it may take a while and seem 50/50 or worse but over time you’d end up legend. Hsreplay is good to find decks. Also look up how to become legend on google there are a couple of good articles about how you need to use deck trackers and not end up getting on a losing streak because your frustrated etc
First of all, you played 2 decks with the highest winrate. If you can't get to rank 5 with these decks, consider your skill. But that kind of advice is useless.... I have exactly the same problem! Everytime I craft a new deck, I have like 70-80% WR , after couple of games I have a feeling that HS is pairing me vs decks that counter me. I've been over rank 5 few times, but I end up tilted, because I can go from rank 10 to rank 5 in one day, with proper matchmaking, rest of the month is like 1win 1 lose or lose streak just because everything is over at turn 5.... I played DR Nzoth rogue, Control deathrattle priest, aggro evolve shaman... usually score 12-2 and then I have lose streaks... I read somewhere on the reddit, that matchmaking in HS is based on your winrate, so probably the only solution is to lose 50 games at rank 10 so you can't drop and after that play normally. I have the same problem and I doubt that it is because of my skill... I have realised this many times... especially in wild. When I play normal decks, I play vs normal decks, when I try to play even warlock, 9/10 games I am paired vs big priest. There is some internal matchmaking in HS and I doubt that it's completely random.
Sorry for long post, but I got a feeling that I have same problem as you.
Edit : Everytime I spend some money on the game, buy few packs or craft something (especially few legendaries) I have a feeling that I got better winrate , cos I don't face decks which counter me so often... it's just a speculation, but I think there are many more players who has the same opinions as me :D
As people mentioned here already, it probably is your lacking skill that keeps you from hitting rank5. To get better it is a good idea to play with someone else, discuss before making a turn and try to learn all your matchups. To not tilt, it helps to chose a deck that has no "autowins" or "autoloses", because you won't learn from those games.
The comunity is really helpfull and i guess if you leave your battletag and your region here, there will be some nice people willing to help you out.
Lol hey worst case copy Murloc Pally deck code and mulligan for Prismatic Lens. Play it as early as you can depending on coin and if prismatic draws itself cast it again. When your decks out Nomi. I know W/R has dropped but still over 50 until 5 or close to rank 5 and tossing Prismatic Lens and then Tip the Scales is about as skilled and technical as the deck gets.
Thank you for saying this. It really is nice to know someone else has gone through what i'm experiencing. When i play rogue i get aggro decks only, when i play shaman it's late game ones. Will do what you advice next season. Again thank for showing compassion.

To go from 6 back to 10, is a sign.
Yes, sure, this is a skill based game after all, right?

Try using quest shaman and really learn the deck.. play it a lot. You will have a win rate higher than 50% which means you will eventually hit rank 5.

Malygos jepetto hunter is good from r 6 to 5
Just play evolve shaman, it requires 0 skill.
Shōsei
You will have swings. Don't change your deck. Rather push through, you'll get unfavourable matches and losing streaks.
I reached rank 5 on november 2.
with even shaman

OTK Shirvallah Paladin is the strongest ladder deck atm (if only you're not facing many Rogues).
