I'm trying to enjoy the new expansion like many others with different decks.
But guess what, Control Warrior like every 2nd or 3rd game. And it doesn't matter what deck you're playing, it mostly comes down to how many removals does he have right now, but the most important factor is the following:
Brawl in hand or not?
Seriously this card needs to be adjusted. It is way too powerful and rewards bad players.
Outplaying your opponent? Doesn't matter, Brawl will save him. Of course this post is a soft rant, but I just despise hoping that the Warrior doesn't have his 2nd Brawl in the first 12 cards, that also counts for all his other 18273 removals...
I don't think anyone facing Control warrior has fun while playing the match. It's tedious, repetitive, boring and so damn long.
It's absolutely awful when a new expansion hits and Control Warrior is a deck so many want to play. You can't really have fun testing decks or even playing some of the half established decks.
I'm sure there are many players like me who are frustrated and just hope for Control Warrior to stop being popular. It has its right to exist but I don't wanna see it so often.
I agree and would love to see a game mode with a ban option. So player opt in for a game and select one class they won't be matched against (can't select own class).
As I said in another of the other 100 "nerf" warrior threads: It's not that CW is OP. It is not. It actually is a VERY beatable deck. The big problem (and in my opinion worse than being OP) is that IT's NOT FUN, AT ALL, to play against CW.
Yeah, sure, I can "easily" beat them with quest paladin, control shaman, highlander mage, mechathun decks, etc, etc... that's actually not the point. The point is that even when you beat them, the games are EXTREMELY BORING AND FRUSTRATING (and it's even worse if you happen to lose after a 40 minutes game). It's just not healthy for the game. God knows that after playing against a CW I have to log off for several hours (sometimes even for the day) because of how miserable I was during that last match, no matter if I won or lost.
This, to me, is even worst than if the deck was OP. It's not. It's just soul-crushingly boring and frustrating to play against.

Well said, you just feel miserable while and after playing a match against CW, doesn't matter if you win or lose. It's some sort of weird anxiety feeling sometimes, just awful.

If they did that, Control Warriors would face nothing but mirror matches.
There's a certain sense of justice to that, but it's probably not the best way to handle the problem.

Yep, you got it! That's exactly how I feel. And it can't be healthy for the game...
Oh, it is! And even if you lose, it won't drag for 40 minutes while the only thing you can do is watch helplessly while your stuff is being cleared again, and again, and again and again and again and again and again............
And again
Don't get me wrong, I'm no fan of the current state of pocket galaxy either, but, at least to me, it doesn't make me want to throw my phone through the window after a match.
Playing AS Control Warrior isn’t much fun either. I got Armagedillo from packs, but after a few nights of tinkering, I don’t enjoy the control / taunt package half as much as playing Bomb Warrior from RoS, regardless of win-rate.

Brawl may reward bad players, but it punishes bad players too. When you queue into warrior, you can safely bet he has brawl and warpath on deck/hand. It’s your job to minimize the impact of those cards.
As for popularity, it’s only ~10% of decks right now. And decks like mech hunter and quest Paladin destroy it.

Ah and dyn-o-matic is a completely busted 5-drop, forgot to add that.

I crafted the Paladin Quest just to compete against this class. No regrets yet!
Golden Hero Collections thus far; -
Europe: Druid, Hunter, Paladin, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior (9/9)
Americas: Druid, Mage, Paladin Shaman (4/9)
Everywhere else: Workin on it.. (0/9)
It is not worse than coin+Luna's Pocket Galaxy.

Fair enough. I typically play things that have game against Warrior.
It's a very RPS meta at the moment, sadly.
Yep, and I have to say I expected a more entertaining meta after 1 week into the new expansion...
Hey. =)
That would be bad, cause it would increase wait times.
It really is just 2 big problem cards that have been problem cards for the last few months.

Play Wild. You see Control Warrior maybe 1/50 of the time. The most common deck at high ranks is Tempo/Secret Mage
The people who defend the deck are the degenerates who play it themselves. Don't worry, the nerf hammer is coming for them.

It's not that Warrior has 1 or 2 or 3 OP cards, but currently it has like 10 of them.
At my rank, everybody is playing anti-control warrior. I'm looking for decks that beat anti-control warrior.
