It seems to me the problem is Dr 7, he's backkkkk! Lol has in the warrior hero dr boom of course! The majority of ppl are said it. Where the deck excels in control it lacks in damage. Control means nothing if you can close the game. Hence why it takes so long to complete games.
No one with 2 brain cells will tell you that Control Warrior needs a nerf because it's overwhelmingly strong, we know that's not the case, the deck is strong, for sure but it isn't some kind of tier 0 god that's above everything else, there are counters and some other decks that do good against CW so that's not the issue. The problem is that playing against warrior is the most boring and mind-numbing thing there is, you know from the start that the game is gonna take forever and that they have 7k removals and then comes Dr.Boom to just kick you right in the nuts cause for whatever reason he hasn't even been mentioned by blizzard as a problematic card when he clearly takes CW to a very powerful level, a deck that should be good against aggro and tempo decks gets the tools to outvalue other decks that should beat it consistenly, it's quite literally the Rexxar drama all over again.
Tbh even when I'm playing the most polarized deck vs CW, which according to HSReplay it's either Quest Paladin with 20% winrate vs it or Mecha'thun Warrior with 17%, I feel like I want to die just because how bored I get of playing vs it, and I'm pretty sure a deck should be tuned even when you are certain that 8/10 you're gonna smack it and you still feel like shit as soon as you see a warrior in the opposite side of the screen.
It's not about power, it's about most of the community wanting to shoot themselves as soon as you hear Garrosh or Magni.
Meh. I have played a ton of Control Warrior and there are plenty of counters if folks want to play them. Hunter can outvalue with that card that shuffles 3 buffed copies and the hunter hero. Rogue can outvalue Warrior with a couple different ways to fill the deck. Shaman can outvalue Warrior with Archivist plus Shudderwock. Pally can crush Warrior with the quest. Kadgar Mage is a bad matchup.
What does that leave? Priest, Warlock, and Druid? And if Warlock or Druid get the nuts you can't beat them either.
I guess Priest can run Nomi if they want to target Warrior.
Just plenty of options out there. It's nothing like the days of Mid-Range Shaman where you really just couldn't counter the deck. Folks just have to decide to play a deck that counters CW if that's all they are seeing.
Nerf Brawl it is the most frustrating spell in the game!
Followed by Conjurer's Calling as a close 2nd.
What about twistin nether, earthquake, hagatha scheme, mass histerya? For you guys only warriors has mass removal lel
I am sorry what, of all those things you listed brawl is most reliable early removal that can be played immediately when drawn. Hagathas scheme needs to stay in hand for a long time, mass histeria does not always clear the board sometimes nothing at all( say you got 2/7 priest card and 4/7. End result is 2/1 and 4/3 no minions cleared at all). Others do work yes, and they do cost 2-3 mana more.
