What you guys think about the Priest class in this meta? What is the biggest problem? Do you think blizzard won't change it because in Wild format it works well? In my opinion it's unfair to let a class completely out of meta.
Priest don't have tools for agressive decks like zoo and don't have a hero card to make possible win the value war in late game.
The resurrect effects are strong but very expensive right now and not enough for competitive play.
This is one of the reasons I believe the hero cards was a mistake, or all classes have hero cards or no class have, it is too much advantage and make all things unbalanced.
If the class can make a very good aggro or tempo deck then can survive without a hero card but anything else than that in a meta other classes have is a lost cause.
I think the problem with Priest is that if you want to play aggro there are better classes. If you want to play midrange there are better classes. If you want to play control there are better classes. And if you want to play combo, there are better classes.
Generally speaking Priest does well when it has either great control or great combo tools. It has neither at the moment. Or at least not a critical mass of such tools.
Priest probably need either a top shelf board clear or a nice tutor to push them into relevance again.

Agree. Shadow visions and Psychic scream are missed.
Priest is ridiculously weak in this meta...Bomb/control Warrior, mech hunter, all good aggro decks...eat priests for breakfast. I am actually wondering why players are still playing priest, specially Nomi priest which, I think, is a joke.

Shadow visions and Psychic Scream are certainly not missed.
Psychic Scream was the most broken aoe that probably ever existed in HS , and Shadow Visions helped to reliably get the spells to win their mu like nothing seen before. ( Just imagine how broken it would be in Rogue atm )
The problem with Priest is that IF the class is viable it has usually good anti aggro tools, and by default Priest has good anti Control cards , either by OTKing your opponent or by overwhelming via value with cards like Mindcontrol or other steal effects. That’s why the meta feels relatively balanced. A lot of classes have a chance against each other, and the most viable OTK deck ( Shirvalla Paladin) wich is actually more like a two turn kill, has to interact way more than Priest ever had to do plus it always has to go to fatuige to win consistently.
Buffing more arms was the right choice into the right direction. Strong Minions, Buff effects, and "Board interactive" aoe . Everything else would simply be oppressive and unfun to play against.

Ah, the lame "...would simply be oppressive and unfun to play against." argument. If that is a metric as to what cards or classes should or should not be in the meta, then Bomb Warrior and Conjurer's Mage should not exist. The argument that it is "unfun" to play against just plain stupid and intellectually dishonest.
Look at the last meta, while it was time for it to end, it was one of the best, and balanced metas that Hearthstone has ever had, and this was a meta that included a strong Priest presence. Yes, I'm sure the "but rez priest was unfun to play against" argument will come to mind immediately, where as I would say yes, it was a very competitive deck, but it was not any where near as oppressive as Conjurer's Mage is right now.
I wouldn't have any complaints if Shadow Visions or Psychic Scream were to be added to the Priest core set. It would at least give them a fighting chance in each Meta, rather than being at the bottom for 80% of the year. Yes yes, Priest has had their time, their very short time of being powerful, yet repeatedly other classes stay at the top of the meta the majority of the time, *cough* Warrior, Druid *cough* and people seem fine with that, oddly enough.
The only reason cards of that power need to be given to Priest is their core set is so poor. But Team 5, or what ever they are going by now, in their infinite wisdom have said, repeatedly, that Priest will be helped only through card expansions.
I think the devs were expecting Mass Hysteria to carry Priest a little better than it has. A defensive class like this needs a more reliable board clear.
Forbidden Words is nice, but it's not what Priest needs in this meta.

1- Priest is utterly unplayable in Standard right now. 2- Biggest problem is lack of AOE removals. Basic cards also need a complete rework. Not only they are weak but some effects seems to annoy many players for unknow reasons as Anduin became the most hated class to play against. 3- Blizzard was never concearned about wild. In fact, after the Jade Idol release in MSOG, Blizzard was never concearned about anything that's not milking money. Blizzard won't fix priest core problems since its a hell of a work that doesn't increase revenue. 4- Yes its unfair and the very reason i don't play hearthstone anymore. I warned 6 months ago priest would be unplayable if they didn't print new AOE spells or very good cards to make up for it. Mass Hysteria is an excelent card, but you can't win the value war in control matchs without a hero card when other classes have.
There is 0 reason to play control priest instead control warrior, the easy matchs are easier for warrior because Dr. Boom and a lot of matchs warrior have 50% of chance to win are lost matchs for priests.
For me this configuration of hero cards in Standard was a big mistake, or all classes have or no one should have.

Resurrect Priest and Chef Nomi are decent decks imo.

your opinion is terribly wrong. nomi priest can never exist in a bomb warrior meta.

edit: formatting
Until Blizzard stops pushing resurrect and also moves Divine Spirit/Inner Fire to HoF, Priest will always be a one trick pony.
I used to enjoy it. Not anymore.

Finally. Someone said it.
job's done.
Since Standard sucks for us, I've been playing wild only, mostly Dragon Priest, Steal Priest, and when tired of loosing, Big priest.
