Usually, not that much, but for whatever reason, i can't climb ladder this season.
So I tried them all, Khadgar mage, Bomb Warrior, Control Warrior, Mech Hunter, Token Druid. Even whith tier 1 deck, i'm in the negative w/l ratio. And since it's ALL RANDOM (yeah right), when I play Control War, 40% of my matches are against Mech Hunter with a stunning 25% winrate. Same goes with Mage, with 40% Rogue.
I used to have a goal to hit legend with every class (now completed). I would choose the class, and make 3 decks of different archetypes for the class.
Start with deck one, and play until 2 consecutive losses, switch to deck two. And so on and so forth.
I would tweak minor tech cards in the decks throughout the climb, but never major changes, I stick to those 3 decks until legend.
Likely not the most effective way, but it was fun for me and got me there :)
I do this, it stops me from feeling terrible, tho generally its cos I'm running a control deck that draws badly 3 games against aggros so I'll play aggro for a bit then swap back after getting my stars back...

Keep your same deck if you're winning
Switch decks if you lose too many in a row (3-5)
If you see an overwhelming amount of a deck switch to its counter (between rank 2-1 you will see the top meta deck getting spammed)
Even when I'm trying to reach legend, my primary objective is still having fun with a deck I enjoy
I'm pretty picky and finding said deck is hard, so I almost never swap once I've chosen to climb with a deck
Legend with : S65 Freeze Mage, S57 Maly Gonk Druid, S57 "Okay" Shaman, S53 Boom-zooka Hunter, S53 Maly Tog Druid, S52 Wild Tog Druid ft.Blingtron, S50 Quest Rogue, S49 Dead Man's Warrior, S41 Wild Clown Fiesta Druid, S41 Hadronox Jade Druid, S40 Wild OTK Dragon Druid, S35 SMOrc Shaman, S33 Jade Druid, S22 Control Priest, S19 Control Priest
I change whenever I want to climb but feel like I am stalling by getting countered or missing tech.
Some times just changing 1 card is enough, It usually works!

I like to switch it up.

I usually don't change decks but tech the deck I am currently playing according to the meta.

Rarely. If I lose a lot of games in a row I might change and swap back one game later.
I try to climb with decks I really like anyway, so there is no reason to change decks at all.
Fun is the most important. Thats why I don't play Tempo, cause I just don't feel it. But this is what I'm trying to do, combine fun with climbing.
