How is it possible that one class is having so many removals? Obviously, I am talking about Warrior. Why are they waiting with the nerfs? Shield Slam, Brawl, Execute, Omega Devastator (I mean COME ON, why would you ever print card like that for a class with plenty of removals already!?), Supercollider. Generating more Zilliax and Devastators with their stupid hero. It just feels like their team has no clue what they are doing.
The deck can be beaten obviously but it is not fun to play against it at all. Often they say, how you need more skill to pilot control warrior deck then token druid for an example. That's just not true. A deck with so many removals it is literally an auto-pilot deck (if you are at least a decent player). Why would anyone on the HS team think that 45 minutes games are fun to play? It's a waste of time. At the top of that they play Elysiana with panda, so the game can be even longer.
45 minute games are fun for those who like them. When every card draw and every bit of value counts. What's not fun is the randomness and highroll potential of the cards in the deck.
Mage has about the same amount if not more removal, why only complain about Warrior? I don't even know how you think removal is a bad thing.
Not really true, lol. Once Warrior plays Dr. Boom, every one of their cards becomes removal.
"every one" is a bit of a broad generalization, considering Eternium Rover. But if we're counting cards that deal one damage, Mage certainly has more removal.
Warrior is fine as a class, doing well but having counters, and even Lackey Rogue, a favorable matchup, can kill it before turn 7-8
The problem is Omega Devastator feels very bad to play against. I know omega cards are really good with 10 mana, but a 4/5 mech for 4 is not even that bad when played on curve, and the battlecry is so powerful, it litterally come with an assassinate on it. I mean, compare Omega Devastator to Vilespine Slayer, which is a very good card on his own, and you see where the problem is.
Remove that mech tag and it's fine actually, having rush or obtainable by Omega Assembly is really too much
Their standard removal isn't too bad although Brawl is hands down the best removal in the game right now. It's their Hero card giving rush to all mechs that makes it frustrating. You can hardly get a minion to stick unless you cheat some out.
Mage has about the same amount if not more removal, why only complain about Warrior? I don't even know how you think removal is a bad thing.
Ehhhh, what? Hell no, Mage currently doesn't even have half of it
Mage removals are mostly spells, and most of them cost a lot, things like Flamestrike/Blizzard/Blast wave. U can count fireball as removal, add Polymorph, Shooting star, Arcane Explosion, Daring Fire Eater, Frostbolt. And that's mostly it. And again, all of these (except fire eater) are SPELLS and half aren't used that often
Now look at CW: They have shitton of both spells AND minions with removals. Shield slams, Brawls, Warpath, Execute, Supercollider, Omega devastator, Militia commander (yes it counts, a 4 mana, deal 5 that can still survive), Dynomatic, Darius, Smolderhorn Lancer (also Slam and Devastate can be added to the list, kinda)
And all that can be used without Dr Boom hero... After Dr boom hero is played, almost every single unit becomes removal, and Omega Assembly keeps making them more cards and removals thanks to the power of Magnetic and MAGIC NEUTRALISED
A class gets cards that support its weaknesses and that's a terrible design. A class gets cards that support things it's already good at, and that's terrible design as well. What do you want the new cards to do then?
You came to the conclusion that giving a class too much removal is a bad idea after the idea that Warrior is in bad state right now, not the other way around, and that makes the thought an excuse and not a reason. The actual reason you think there's a problem with Warrior is that you subjectively don't like its play style.

I just counted at least 20 removal cards for Mage. What does it matter if they're spells and expensive? It doesn't take away from the fact that they're removal. Considering that Warrior is the fourth best class currently, with no tier one decks, I fail to see how anything you just said is an issue.

You're building a wrong point to try and dismantle that of the OP.
Even assuming Warrior is not problematic (arguable), you can count how many times you want, but Mage removals in Standard aren't as efficient and effective as those in CW are.
If they were, you could see a Control Mage in this meta. Since you can't (no, Freeze Mage is not really a Control deck), the argument about the number of removals in Mage is silly.
Efficiency is what defines a Control deck. Not the number of options available during deckbuilding.

So comparing with Mage makes no sense atm.
It’s not problematic, when/if Control Warrior becomes tier one and an actually good deck, I might change my mind. OP was counting warrior removal so I counted removal of another class, and the other class simply had more removal. I’m not saying it’s better removal, but it is more, so it is strange to complain about a subpar class with less removal.
Arguably there is a control mage in this meta, Khadgar dragon mage. It doesn’t run much of the aforementioned removal, but it could certainly count as control given the cards it plays.

They know perfectly well, i'm afraid...
Nah this is just an excuse for CW players whose goal is to bore you to death.
The thing is whenever warrior becomes an issue, an otk deck comes knocking at the door. Its just a natural cycle.
After trying most meta decks, I feel like rogue might be the issue as they have insane tempo, a lot of burst and way too much value generation.
Despite all that, the meta is in a good state.
Which part? The part about other classes having the same if not more removal than warrior? I can make a list tomorrow of removals if you really want
Of course they test the cards. The class balance is actually pretty decent now, better than pre rotation.
Just play a midrange hunter or paladin deck with strong deathrattles or summoner mage and control warriors are sitting ducks.

i dont get it why they dont print new cards during an expansion to fix the weakness of a class or just try to make matchups even closer.
they could also rework some of the cards like book of specters, just as an expample.
- draw 3 cards, discard any spell drawn to draw 3 cards, spells you draw cost "x mana" more.
so dumb to discard spells in mage, makes no sense
Thats your opinion, i would rather play 1 of those matches. Then 10 vs aggro, where u just hit face.
And warrior is not even close to the best deck.
Not really true, lol. Once Warrior plays Dr. Boom, every one of their cards becomes removal.

This is a rant that isn’t about Rogue. Therefore, you’ve missed the mark.
