Where do you guys think Shaman will fit once the meta settles? Think murloc shaman will still be viable, and if so, what tier will it be? Same goes for big shaman or other archetypes.
IMO, all the Shaman decks are good, but other classes do what they do better.
If I want a board-flood aggro deck, Token Druid appears to do it better than Murloc Shaman. If I want a grindy control deck, Control Warrior seems to do it better than Shaman. If I want a "big" combo deck, Big Hand Mage/Conjurer Mage seems like it does it better than Big Shaman.
So I think they're all viable, but not the strongest in their niche.
Shaman may be able to do a burn deck better than many right now, though. Spirit of the Frog is a good card. So that could be worth investigating more. Something like that is attractive as a possible Rogue counter.

Kind of what I was thinking. Working on my 500 wins for Shaman, and I like murloc shaman so far. I hope shaman finds THEIR deck soon.

This is pretty much spot on but I also feel like the shaman decks tend to be more "well rounded" in the matchups. Murloc shaman tends to feel better in the aggro vs aggro sometimes, and Big shaman is much better than Conjurer's mage against aggro. Maybe stats don't back this up but it's the feeling i get from playing all these decks.

Thoughts?

Hi my dood.
It depends on nerfs, of course, but absent those, basically what the guy above me said.
Tier 2 or 3 is as high as Shaman gets while those stronger similar decks exist.
I feel like there could be another archetype for Shaman that hasn't been fully explored since the rotation, but who know if that will ever happen?

pro tip: in control matchups, keep Archivist Elysiana in your opening hand so your opponent can't hit it with Hecklebot .

There have been two rounds of card changes since this thread was started, and the outlook for Shaman has changed drastically.
In particular, the Burn Shaman archetype seems viable now, and control and token decks also seem to be in a much better place.
Of course, Murlocs are still going strong and have risen to the top of the food chain since the Rogue nerf.
