I had an idea for a big mech Paladin deck. It's so-so, got 9 wins in brawliseum. Holds its own against bomb warrior, but it's really bad against mage and priest because it lacks board clear and single removal. What would be good changes to this deck list?
There's always Truesilver Champion to help with single-target removal in case the deck needs to remove minions instead of playing a 4-drop. The deck definitely wants to find Bellringer Sentry or Zilliax with Call to Arms over Annoy-O-Module and Duel! would like to find bigger minions instead as well, so I'd easily cut one Annoy-O-Module to make room for a butterknife.
The deck also needs only one A New Challenger... tops as it has plenty of other big threats already and would prefer to play them over a random 6-drop. The card could discover Stegotron with divine shield of course, but it very easily find something that isn't that. That could be butterknife #2.
Desperate Measures is not as valuable as Equality. Running two Desperate Measures and playing out both nearly ensures that one of those random secrets will be Eye For An Eye. At least one should go and at least one Equality should be added to deal with all the 12-health minions running around right now. There's enough other secrets in here to make Mysterious Blade consistent enough.
TL;DR: -1 A New Challenger... -1 Annoy-O-Module -1 Desperate Measures +1 Equality +2 Truesilver Champion is my advice. That would mean there's 5 weapons total in the deck, but that's probably fine as they offer a ton of reach to compensate.
Thanks, that really worked! I also removed the last annoy-o-module for Archmage Vargoth, which is very nice with Duel (either pulled and lives, or turn 4 from Call to Adventure).
