I thought bomb warrior would be fun. Turns out its it might be the least interactive archetype ever. The battle is almost completely off the board with the exception of the Dr. Boom turn. They fill your deck with stuff, you counteract with healing cards. I hope this is just an early fad, otherwise I may go back playing arena for the first time in years so I can actually have interactions between minions again.
Sounds like, ive seen these decks alot before. They are called otk, where u just watch someone draw cards then kill you.
everyone was so pumped to play bomb warrior but kept saying "looks fun but i guess it will be just a meme, oh well i will play it nevertheless", and now its like OmG PleaSE itS brOkEn CaNcER game!!!!!
i open boom and wrenchcalibur and craft the rest of the deck and i played bomb warrior but the deck is not for me
i didnt have any fun at all
u rely on bombs and drawing boom
maybe i dont like warrior class at all
i find zoo rafaam deck or plot twist hakkar rafaam deck really intresnting and fun though i having a blast playing Arch-Villain Rafaam
Bomb warrior is a little bit annoying, but not the worst deck I ever faced.
you got a decklist for your rafaam deck please? I played a rafaam zoo earlier and it looked pretty cool. This is the first expac in years I haven't had a Warlock deck in the first couple of days, hoping there is gonna be a good rafaam deck in the coming weeks. I don't have the cards this time around to experiment though unfortunately.
Just been playing a bunch of Rogue decks so far. (chef+togwaggle etc, pretty decent actually)
Its little bit harder to Beat this Murloc decks, but its like "I win six matches versus Shaman but wait..... ok ok one pitty lose against murlocshamy" . Every single WARIOR want the Bomb the LADDER up!
Playing against Bomb Warrior feels no different than playing Odd Warrior, wasting 30 mins per game only to lose in the end because nothing competes with it. GG Blizz another job well done.
Couple things here
1 - things do compete with it. I've been playing a lot of bomb warrior and it's good but absolutely not unbeatable If you genuinely think it is, go play it for a few hours and come back with evidence of your 100% win rate. Hunter is a tough match, murkoc shaman can be good night within 6 turns as can token druid.
2 - some people prefer a slower, more methodical game. Personally, I'm not a fan of games that end by round 6. It just becomes a really tedious and repetitive task. A bit like call of duty or fortnite. I can't stand those types of games but appreciate others do
Also, it isn't often I've won due to the bombs. Plenty of matches I've won 'naturally' and not even had a single one go off. There's plenty of vakur in boom and enough rush or charge capabilities to win the board and win by going face.

The only reson bomb warrior is seeing a high win rate is because everyone started out netdecking Warrior and Rogue. Ironically, a lot of people are still playing warrior, but more and more of them are realizing the dragon package is more effective, so you already see Bomb Warrior slipping.
Control Shaman has to work hard to lose to it. Any number of aggro decks can outrace it. I don't comprehend how people are still making this claim of imbalance.

Currently 8-0 against Bomb War with my Hunter Deck.
I find it boring to play against. I know what is coming and how to "counter it"(Don't draw cards? Idk usually beat them before turn 10). It burns me out facing the same deck over and over.
Imagine debating someone over the same topic over and over again, or playing the first level of Mario over and over again. It gets dull there is no arguing against that.
Normally the start of the expansions are the funnest because everyone would be home-brewing and you wouldn't know what to expect. Sort of like a hyrbid version of Constructed Arena. Its this feeling of the unexpected that triggers goose bumps when you are listening to your favorite tunes and its lacking the sensation this time around.
I think it comes down that peaople get bored of the hype facing the same deck over and over again. the deck itself seems like a good new type but not OP.
Honestly, Bomb Warrior is just a giant fucking snorefest to play against, even moreso than combo or regular control lists. At least those either need to assemble a combo and not have it be screwed over by interruption or meticulously grind it out into fatigue in Control Mirrors. With Bomb Warrior, you're just playing against a wall of removal if you plan to put anything on board or you're sitting in the "death by bombs and Boom Bots" waiting room if you're a control deck yourself.
I believe the main reason the deck is such a gigantic pain in the ass is simply how much dedication it takes to even remotely counter it with tech cards. Combo decks you can easily interrupt with stuff like Hacklebot, control lists you can beat in fatigue with Elysiana, aggro you just run some taunts or a cheap board wipe more than usual. With Bomb Warrior you need
1. Weapon removal for the wrench
2. Healing against the ~35 bomb damage you'll be facing
3. Elysiana to remove bombs and have even a slight chance to survive fatigue
4. A way to draw bombs out of your deck before Blastmaster Boom drops
5. Some way to generate near infinite cards to not be ground to pieces by Omega Assembly and Delivery Drone
The deck just needs so much crap teched in against it if you plan to counteract it that it's impossible to include it all without butchering yourself. Add to that the fact that it's entirely uninteractive, meaning every turn (if your deck uses minions) just turns into a dice roll of which removal will kill your stuff or is just "Hero Power go" because they don't have a bomb card in hand and nothing to kill on board, and you have yourself some top tier bullshit.
Don't get me wrong, I myself love playing control decks and control vs control is one of my favourite match-ups to play and watch in literally every card game I ever played but the entire joy of those games gets sucked right out if one of those control decks gets a basically free 30 damage clock while losing next to nothing from their removal pool.
bomb warrior is already fading away. control warrior is the absolute worst gameplay though, just removal and do nothing until dr boom and be outraced (and not able to play anything meanfully until dead). idk i just fall asleep playing it, or against it..

Which is why the highest warrior win rate deck in legend - 5 right now masquerades as a control warrior, but is actually playing the Mecha'thun package.
That deck has about a 99% win rate in the mirror match, as well it should.
Combo will grow to combat control.
Aggro will grow to combat combo.
Control will grow to combat aggro.
Almost as if this cycle has happened before.

3 mana 2/3 minion. Remove all cards that didn’t start in your deck. Draw a card. This would be a nice tech card.

I'm not a big fan of Huntard, but after face so many Booms, I made a midrange beast + spell Hunter, and I'm crushing Bomb warrior with it

Been playing Big Shaman and never lost to bomb warrior once.

Anything like bonbons? Peggy liked bonbons.
Bomb warrior isn't all that bad. Worse decks out there right now.
