My decisione is that I will dust all wild card of 2 heroes I don't like at all: Paladin adn Druid. And I will invest in wild cards only for priest and warlock.
Ca be a good solution for my economic possibilities
I used to disenchant all cards for classes I didn't like which was a mistake, although I only play wild and have done for 2 years now. If you aren't planning on playing wild any time soon it's probably fairly safe to do so and after all it is only 2 classes. Warlock is very strong in wild right now with 2 decks at tier 1 and tier 2 (4 total). Priest has some decks but has been declining in popularity at least in wild. Still played though.
I don't get why so many people are saying wild is fun and there is variety in the decks played.... it's rly not. I played Wild the last months exclusively and it's the same decks over and over again. You can't have fun with crazy decks or try a crazy combo because you are dead by turn 6.
In wild you will play against the most broken BS deck over and over again and that's no fun.... believe me.
But the worst part about wild is that new expansions have very little effect on the meta because the broken decks are almost optimal or have better cards to use. 2 weeks after launch it feels like there is no new expansion out.
It does seem as if the year of the dragon sets are shaking up the wild meta a bit. There are still the old favourites floating around but people do genuinely want to play new cards, and when possible, add them to their old decks.
Unfortunately the same old cards that are and have always been busted, do remain that way and so they will always have a prevalence in every meta/most decks with highest frequencies, but countering them can be a fun challenge with tech options.
It would be a stupid waste to dust all your wild cards because you don't like a particular meta at any given time because you have no idea what new cards could come and influence it, or what plans/ideas Blizz might have for wild, or even another future game mode that also may utilise wild cards.
Well, slightly necro thread but this is a good time to make a point... SoU has added a lot of new viable decks to wild. It also supplied a few tech cards for old decks. I’ve been playing more wild than standard in the last month.
Hell the guy who raised this deck from the grave complained it felt stale last month but now it’s completely different meta.
I disenchant my whole wild collection every time rotation hits and I have never had some bigger regret over this. I am not interested in Wild at all and I do not plan on playing it ever. Even with new expansions the Wild meta does not change that drastically so it is basically playing the same decks all over again.
I have to admit I got a little sentimental with some cards though - e.g. when I destroyed Frost Lich Jaina which I enjoyed so much playing.
Disenchanting is dumb. There are plenty of tavern brawls that allow the use of Wild cards when you need to build a deck. Even if you never play Wild mode, you would need them for this game mode to stay competitive. You never know when you'll need them.
never thought i would live to read "tavern brawl" and "competitive" in the same phrase... but hearthpwn users are just amazing!
In Tavern Brawl, two players compete for a prize, so yes, "competitive" is a reasonable word choice.

Other than so BS decks in Wild (which there are in Standard as well), I'm have a great time playing Wild. Yes, it needs more love than Blizz will ever give it, but it's a good format and a great variant when Standard gets too stale.
Yeah Wild is tons of fun. A great place to blow off some steam if you wanna craft an insane deck and have a good time playing. Sure you run into OP decks in casual here and there, but nowhere near the amount of times that you do in standard casual.
Disenchanting en masse is a terrible idea for the long term, as the process will never end: you'll have to keep dusting to maintain the Standard pace, sacrificing thousands of dust (particles?). Instead of shunning Wild, people should embrace the fact that they will eventually have a collection that makes Wild a viable alternative, and play in both modes. Fighting against the inevitable leads to a major loss on investment.
the reason blizzard doesnt support wild is the same reason WotC didnt support Legacy or vintage... they dont earn money out of these formats...
WotC = MTG which I played for about 20 years!

I dusted during the first ever rotation. Big mistake, never will again. I thought I'd only play standard but standard gets boring quickly
not all , only bad ones !

Other than that, I'm fine.

Stupidest thing you could possibly do.
